TownePlace Suites by Marriott Knoxville Cedar Bluff

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. The property is poorly maintained, and the staff is even more poorly trained. If it were the only hotel available in town to stay at, I would go to another town. The elevator didn't work, the TV didn't work, and the staff couldn't say when they would. The cleaning staff only put decaf coffee in the room, so to use the in-room coffee maker, you had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs to get regular coffee. The bathroom had no soap. The shower soap dispensers were two hair shampoo dispensers and one conditioner dispenser. The rooms were supposed to be cleaned every other day, and of course they weren't. And to top in all off, when you complain about the poor service and condition, they get mad and kick you out of the hotel and then do not want to give a refund. Never, ever, under any circumstances, stay there. This is your warning.

Easy check-in, room was clean and air conditioner was keeping room very cool. Staff was friendly and insured. We had everything that we needed.

Bad design, the sofa bed pulls out up against the bed, not letting anyone walk through the room. The breakfast was ok, but the amenities were subpar. Outdated and not clean

Meh. Couldn’t adjust the fan on the ac unit. The exhaust fan didn’t work. The mold on the north side exterior wall driving up was “off putting.” Other than that it was ok.

Some mild/small stains on the pillow cases, no fitted sheet on the bed and when we called the front desk person just gave us a sheet rather than putting on themselves. Otherwise everything was fine

The lobby and hallways were not what I expected from a Marriott. The hotel must have been converted from a lower class hotel. The description also said there was a sofabed in the room but it was only a chair. The bathroom had old fixtures.
