Requested a top floor room, clerk said it would be $80 more. She didn't know how to change the room number, so made up some malarkey to prevent changing rooms. Train the employees better. I like a quiet stay, free from children and other noises.

This was my favorite hotel of my trip. The room was just the right size for the two of us. Every finish in the room/hotel seemed as high end as (or more so) than the most expensive hotels I've stayed in. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. If there was one thing I think that could have changed, it was that they could offer free breakfast. That being said, they did have a bar and restaurant on site so you could buy breakfast (or other meals if you choose to). Drinks at the bar are very expensive so keep that in mind if you order a drink. The hotel sits really close to interstate 40 at the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge exit (on the same road as Buc-ee's) so the location is very convenient when trying to avoid all of the traffic going in to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Also, we never heard the traffic from the interstate so they must really insulate the building well. We had stayed at another hotel in the area the previous night that was further from the interstate and we heard the traffic all night in that hotel. I definitely recommend this Courtyard by Marriott location.

The hotel was very clean and all the furnishings in the room were very nice. You can tell that the hotel is very well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
