La Jolla Shores Hotel

This was such a wonderful property to stay at for our anniversary. The staff was excellent, live music Thursday night was great, the views and sunset…everything was great.

The property location was my favorite thing about the hotel. They were under construction so the pool wasn't open. I don't fault them for that. I would definitely return. I do wish they had streaming tv options.

I was concerned about the lack of security. Anyone can walk in and out of the property.

right on the beach, had a cute cafe to watch the beach - room was large , older but decently clean - only thing i did not like was garden patio is two chairs in the walkway and fitness center had 3 machines, tiny and dark.

Literally right on the beach! Great atmosphere, helpful staff, awesome pool, and great restaurant.

The staff were all friendly and amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach was spectacular and safe.

Stayed here in 24 and 26 and it was great!

The staff were excellent. The room had an amazing pool and ocean view. We utilized the beach set ups and shuttle and had a great time.

The location of the property can’t be beat, as the hotel is located directly on the beach. The property itself was just a bit dated and could have used a refresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool area and the outdoor lounge space with fire pits was nice. The furniture around the fire pits was a bit worn and dirty.

This hotel is tired. Plumbig fixtures that need replacing, paint in the bathroom peeling and the room air conditioners are extremely noisy and inefficient. We left are unit on for three continuous days and it never really made the room comfortable. While the location is fantastic the coast has a lot of choices and I will look long and hard for my next stay in SoCal

Property is so tired. Too tied to charge $100 resort fee. Rooms were dirty. Internet didnt work at all.

it is right on the water. if you get a beachfront room you can see the ocean and sunset from your bed. it is a beautiful clean property. Cost is a little high but it is worth it.

Disappointed. Location is good but hotel is old and stinky…

Overall it was ok staff are very nice and facility is really clean. Only downfall was the parking is overly pricey and the card never worked coming in and out.
