Stayed here for the 4 th of July. The price was reasonable for a holiday weekend. We faced Kellogg park and had a coastal view room. I was surprised that we didn’t hear much of the noise from Kellogg park when we closed the patio doors. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning. The beach is beautiful! The property is located close to restaurants which were a block away. The LaJolla drone show for the 4 th of July is right in front of the hotel and was amazing. The property is clean. The house keepers do a good job! The staff is friendly even when customers aren’t. We will be back again! Thank you La Jolla Shores for a great vacation!

Great staff, enjoyable experience and handled well given it was 4th of July.

Staff were very friendly. Pool area is nice with plenty of towels. One gate didn’t shut automatically which is a safety hazard and there are also rooms that open up right into the pool area which is scary for those traveling with small kids. Plenty of umbrellas and chairs and towels for the beach. Restaurant was good. Not a wide variety especially for kids. No microwaves in rooms. Access to the beach and views are unbeatable. Great park and playground next to property.

Staff send us to an overflow parking that doesn’t want to take us We have to beg them for a place and they only want to keep tge car until 10.30 pm When we come to talke tge car 5 min late they are on the way to tow my car!!! What happened if I cannot find a parking place in garage after 10.30 pm?????

Love this place, will always come back but... Card reader for parking access didn’t work and needs to be fixed. Irons were removed and replaced with a steamer?? Still no usb charge ports after the reno.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights last weekend for her birthday getaway . Overall we were very happy with the hotel but one thing that they did not supply with every room cleaning was restocking bottles of water for the room.

The room was hot, very hot. Bath-tube kept plugging shower water pressure low. new management impacting experience, front office not welcoming. Restaurant closes at 9 called at 830 front dest transferred call no one picked up. ended up walking down there 8:40pm to order fries and staff said the kitchen is closed.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The free chairs and towels set up on the beach was a very very nice touch. The only negative comment would be about the elevators. The elevators had a strong odor of dog urine. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Amazing property, amazing access to beach, free Tesla charger in the parking. Loved breakfast at their restaurant.

Restaurants and activities are within walking distance. Family and pet friendly.

Cons: Staff could have been much more informative regarding what the property offered. Also would have been nice to know the fridge in our kitchenette would be off upon arrival. Food spoiled. Parking was pricey for having so many issues with access in and out of the garage. Key card did not work at all. Leaky shower.

Staff was amazing especially Christian at front desk, Stephen who got our luggage and Richie who helped us with our luggage when we were leaving. The girls at the outdoor cafe, Ella, Mia, and hostess with long blonde hair were very accommodating, personable, and polite. This was our 5th staying here and it won’t be our last. We love it there! Everyone was very sweet to our dog, Lucy!

I really enjoyed the access to the beach, towels, chairs, umbrellas. Having parking onsite is another perk.

Nice hotel, right on the beach. An older but updated building - it was very comfortable and nice. The pool is small, hot tub really small but the beach cannot be beat! Parking a bit difficult but really had a great stay!

Great access to the beach and staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend this location for its proximity to the ocean and nearby restaurants.
