Location in walking distance of the two centers of La Jolla: The upmarket one and the availabilities on Pearl St. Calm and relaxing after a stressful day - the setting really set this accommodation apart as off the beaten track while still in the center of La Jolla. It was in a way an oasis or a time pocket. They cannot guarantee an onsite parking lot, even if it was part of the booking. We got lucky and always had one of the four spaces, but resorting to street side parking would have been a nightmare, because they are almost all taken.

Such a cute place! It has a very homey feel and was clean and spacious! I didn’t cook, but there was a full kitchen and cute patio area. The description wasn’t clear that there are 2 bathrooms and 2 bathTUBS, but only 1 shower. Also, the 3rd room doesn’t have AC. The master mattress needs to be replaced. Parking availability is scarce.

We enjoyed our time here. This place is older and is more like an Air BnB than a hotel. But overall it met our needs well and was a fun, unique place to stay. We had a kitchen and a dining room table, and even a private outdoor table, which we would not have had in a normal hotel. This place delivers on charm and individuality. It's also very well located, within an easy walk or drive to both the beach and La Jolla village. Parking was easy either in their small parking lot or in the abundant street parking. The workers there were nice, but the office isn't open all the time, which would be my one real complaint. Overall, my group really enjoyed our time here and we would strongly consider staying here again next time we're in the area.

It's quite and tucked away. Short walk to the coast with a fantastic view of the sunset.

The cottages are terminally quaint. There are four parking spaces total, and street parking was full all the time. I don't recommend trying to park a car here.

I liked the most bathroom, everything new, very clean and modern nothing

Our second stay here. Already looking forward to the next.

The location, close to the beach and shops, is truly fantastic. The bungalow complex has a lot of charm and is an oasis of peace Most of the windows in my cottage couldn't be opened. Because of this, I didn't really get that beachy feeling inside the bungalow. Personally, I also found the place a bit too cluttered with plush and porcelain. It doesn't really fit with a beach setting.

Incredibly quaint. It felt like I was tucked away in a secluded location despite being in the middle of the city. The cottage was cozy and adorable. The plant life was incredible and helped it to feel cool despite the heat. Nothing! Could do a little better job with cleaning up cobwebs along the ceiling rafters, but other than that, it was lovely.

It is a beautiful little garden retreat. It is one block to the beach. There are lots of little restaurants close by, our favorite is la Corriente.

I will be in touch soon Expedia; others beware please and thank you.

Rules and waivers seem to have been written by lawyers. Very off putting.
-
Great property, we loved being able to walk to the La Jolla tide pools and some nice restaurants nearby. The bathroom is a bit smaller than it appears in photos but overall the cottage was very clean and comfortable!
-
Cozy little Cottage with five minute walk to the tide pools. Very comfortable we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful grounds, great location near the ocean and a world-class contemporary art museum, easy and secure entry, immaculate and well laid out room with all the furnishings and kitchen equipment needed. In general, very well thought out and maintained. Looking forward to returning.

A place with a unique character Nothing

The property was charming. The garden area was lovely. The cottage was charming and clean however there was a very very bad musty smell in the cottage that we stayed in #246. It made for a rough two night sleep as it was nauseating to me and affected my husband’s allergies. The slider door to the bathroom was hard to slide open. We could not get the TV to work. But that was ok. The faucet on the kitchen sink was loose so be careful with that. It would be helpful to put blackout curtains at the window on the wall where the headboard is on as the lights from the parking are shining throw the curtain shears. But most disturbing was the musty smell. But we love La Jolla and will always be coming back but probably not to this charming little place as from outside visuals very charming but this cottage in particular has some issues that need addressing.

Located close to the beach and we walked to so many killer restaurants we walked to.
