It was fine.. super basic breakfast, but didn’t expect much. Room was kind of musty and the bathtub didn’t feel clean, just had some damage that looked dirty, the tv was angled up.. kind of weird the air worked well so that was a bonus but it sounded like the ocean… we go to Lafayette a lot I doubt we will stay there again.

Room 127 smelled horrible, need to replace the carpet! Wet mildew scent! One small garbage can in the entire room! Every time we left we had to get the key re-calibrated! Last day of our stay breakfast was not ready at six! I’m use to the hotel staff making our beds but the only thing they did was replace towels while we were out to our baseball tournament! Other guests was complaining of the outdoor pool wasn’t clean!

The lobby was nice hit the carpets stink on the hotel, especially on the second floor. The room was cluttered with an oversized desk.

The worst thing though was the smell! The lobby was nice, but the second floor smelled like mildew, dirty funk, and marijuana. The room smelled less like weed but still gross and funky. I had to get some febreze just to make it through the night. The staff was excellent, super helpful and friendly. Couldn't have been better, nothing against them at all. And the lobby is really nice.

The second room actually had wash clothes and the fridge worked but there was trash left over from the previous occupant. I had to ask for towels and wash clothes every day. When I requested a refresh of the room it didn't happen. When I commented that it didn't happen the staff at the desk said it would happen the next day. The cleaning staff missed a lot of stuff. No toilet paper, no bags for the ice bucket, no replacement of coffee cups, no wash clothes and no floor mat.
