Sonesta ES Suites Lafayette Airport Extended Stay

Very clean nice sized rooms. Full size refrigerator and sufficient cooking area with cookware. Nice bathroom with hot water. Staff is very friendly and the location was excellent for the event I was attending. Easy access to interstate. We enjoyed our staff and so did our Frenchie!

The amenities that came with the hotel and room. The breakfast.

Very nice Nothing

Breakfast was mundane. Rooms were comfortable but one of the two was musty. One of the two had German cockroaches, not many but had some. Good location for all locations traveled to. Overall good except for the cockroaches and the tub in one room did not drain well.

Exceptional

Clean

Front desk was excellent Housekeeping was rude, towels were horrible

Poor

The friendly staff, and how clean the entire place is. Delicious breakfast and beds are super comfy. Everything is good

A nice quiet clean hotel with full kitchen.

Comfortable bed, easy access from the highway. Room was clean. Breakfast OK , but could be improved. The LG ( under the window ) air-conditioning units are a disaster. This is the second hotel we have stayed in with these units & the floors are continually wet. In addition to that, they are really noisy. One checkin staff member was quite abrupt in her manner.

Exceptional

Room was clean, staff polite, beds very comfortable. The only thing I would change is when someone takes a hot shower, the vent isn’t strong enough to pull the steam out and the bathroom and the kitchen area get very damp.

The breakfast was great, my husband fell in the tub bc it was so slippery, we called the front desk and they just said to call the ambulance, they did not seem to care at all that he fell. He is still sore but nothing was broken thank goodness. We had reservations to stay in Oct.of 2026.but we canceled them bc of the way the staff acted when I told him he slipped in the tub..we stayed there before and had a great experience this time not so much..so we are staying at another hotel which is a little more expensive but worth it. For good customer service. The tub was slippery and my husband fell, the staff did not care at all they just said to call an ambulance , I said can I fill out an accident report she said no..

I missed breakfast a couple times

Good

I liked everything about it, the breakfast, location cleanliness. I missed breakfast a couple times

The tub was slippery and my husband fell, the staff did not care at all they just said to call an ambulance , I said can I fill out an accident report she said no..

I stayed from Wednesday til Monday and I wouldn’t most definitely stay again! I have no complaints !

I was driving so for me it is several miles off of I-10, however it is next to the airport. It is advertised as near the airport. It is also WELL worth the drive off I-10 to stay here. Found my Lafayette motel.
