The staff were very helpful. We had issues getting in our room when we arrived, but they answered the phone and worked it out. Parking was easy and the location was good for being downtown. The property is old and does not appear to be well maintained. The bathroom had paint peeling if the walls. All in all though it was a nice stay.

LOVED our stay!! Building, rooms, staff. Everything was perfect and this sweet little hotel has so much charm, and so many things to do/eat within walking distance. 1000% RECOMMEND!!!! Will stay here again!

The property was fine. Check in was smooth and the staff was helpful. It seems they leave after 7pm and they had numbers to call if needed. The room was clean. The sheets were clean, however they seemed worn. The shower curtain didn’t reach the floor and one of the lights in the room was broken and tapped up. There was plenty of parking and the pool was small but clean. The deadbolt was also broken. There was no one there to assist with check out as we left at 7am and no one was on staff until 10am. Overall it was a fine. The place is older but seems to be kept up ok. Just some minor adjustments with linens and room amenities.

Staff upon arrival was not the friendliest, was more worried about being on her cell phone rather than helping guests. Hot tub was not "hot". Overall we love the hotel, not our first visit & not our last.

The room was great - very big and elegant - and the desk staff member was very helpful.

Large rooms and a very comfortable bed. Hotel was very central to explore downtown Lafayette.

Check in is at 3, got there around 2:55. Had to call for staff to come to front desk after waiting at least 10 minutes. She wasn’t very welcoming but work with able. Parking was great. We get to the room and it’s HOT. The air conditioner says 65, so we brought it down to 60. While waiting & getting ready for our night I notice how dirty and poorly cleaned things were. There was still hair in the bed. Long hairs & short (like pubes or arm pit) hairs. Bed felt extremely comfortable though. Once we were ready for our night it just got hotter but whatever we left. Got back, EVEN HOTTER. I looked inside the vent and omg disgusting. I pulled out the filters and omg even worse. Will not be back.

It is quiet and convenient with easy access to local restaurants and shops. The adjacent restaurant/social club has opened.

The front door closes and locks at 7pm, and no staff appear again until around 9am. Instead of guests being able to use a keycard at the main entrance, you have to go through a back parking lot, down a strange alley, and enter through the rear door. It felt unsafe and unnecessarily unsettling, especially at night. It’s odd that they haven’t figured out a better after-hours entrance system. The room itself was okay — a little grungy, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Still, I really didn’t want to leave the room once I was inside. The location is convenient and centrally located downtown, which is probably the biggest positive. But for such an interesting small city, Lafayette deserves much better accommodations than The Juliet. I’m genuinely glad to hear a new hotel is coming to town.

Cold a/c in room with very nice bathroom! Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient to lots of activity, food, and fun downtown!

Perfect location. Dim lighting in the rooms but comfy space.

The only thing positive I can say was at least the sheets were clean. There were no housekeeping services. Electrical switches and outlets were mismatched or missing. The small pool looked toxic, and there were trash and cigarette butts in all outside areas. The parking lot was not secure. The interior of the hotel, particularly the gathering space on the second floor contained old and very dirty furniture. The hotel is on a loud and busy street. There was no assistance with baggage , basically no amenities. I cannot recommend that anyone stay at this hotel.

Parking was easy and nearby. The room was mostly clean if not a little shabby…the couch. Flooring in bedroom did not match up to threshold in bathroom. Air conditioning worked but was very loud in the bedroom. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful…when they were there which was infrequent. Best attribute of the hotel was it’s proximity to downtown and especially the Spoonbill restaurant across the street.

They lock the front door at 7 which should tell you something. And after the first day we never saw another staff member even at the front desk. Common areas stink of industrial cleaner and the room is dank and musty. There were so many things broken in the room they aren’t worth mentioning. No coffee pods. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I didn't see a gym, but it's in the middle of downtown shopping centers

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

A bid noisy on Friday night.

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

Great location, large comfortable room. Few staff members, and the gym and pool are tiny jokes. I would return.

Nice room, bed condition and beding stuffs really good and comfortable. Quiet place.

Belle does great job! She greeted and helped us with such kindness and encouragement. Room was very comfortable and clean. It was great to be able to walk to our appointment and also have a safe place to park. Restaurants nearby (and a church:). Best thing to see and read was the beautiful Bible in the nightstand.

Extremely nice staff. We enjoyed our stay! Strongly recommend!
