there was no phone to communicate to the front desk and had roaches

The room was a very nice size . Plenty of room for stuff. Tv had local channels. Smell of smoke was very potent! Sheets were clean however, the fridge could have used a wipe down, and the tub. Coffee pot carafe was the wrong size so you can’t actually make coffee, but they did have coffee and condiment's for it. Close to downtown and cajundome. Price was exceptional.

Nothing... Cockroaches, poop and blood on "clean" towels, would touch the floor... I don't understand how hotels are not forced to close with such a low lwvel of hygiene...

Bugs!!!! Cockroaches crawling everywhere. Huge spiders crawling around and under the bed covers and I am still covered in swollen pus-filled itchy bites from other unknown bugs, Horrendous experience.

It was close to stores The place was dirty, trash cans overflowing, never once did house keeping change the linen, they only came and checked on me once, I asked for trash bags and was told to use my Walmart bags. I asked for towels after 3 days and was given 1 face towel and 1 bath towel for 2 people. There was no kitchen accessories. The fridge was missing shelves. Floors on the 2nd floor hallway had holes in them. Only one stove outlet worked, the microwave plate was too big and the security matches were not there.
