Casa Loma Beach Hotel (formerly The Inn at Laguna Beach)

Could check out at 12:00 instead, disappointed to say the check out front desk bitterly replied with “it will be a $150 fee for checking out 1 hour later”. Quite honestly that left a bitter after taste to the hotel for me. The hotel was in nice condition and some of the staff was very nice and welcoming.

The location and views are amazing. You can walk to everything and the beach is at your feet. We love the pool.

Pool could be a few degrees warmer, but that's about the only suggestion I could give. Slept with my slider door open, listening to the waves crashing and the cool air coming into my room. Highly recommend a patio room with an ocean view, worth the price.

The last time I was there it was still the Laguna Beach Inn. What a change! While we miss the rooftop happy hour - the property is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable.

We felt so welcomed by all of the staff! Especially Sam and Piper! All deliveries were so prompt it surprised us how quick they were. Clean room and hotel was exceptional! Great views of the beach and surrounding areas! Those cookies…to die for!!!!

The room was not very clean when we arrived. We found leftover drinks and cups that had been squeezed and stuffed inside the safe, and the air vents were noticeably dirty, which caused us to sneeze throughout our stay. Pool service was also difficult to find, and it seemed like the hotel could really benefit from having more staff. Additionally, the elevator made a very loud and disturbing noise every time the doors opened and closed, which was concerning. Overall, the location and views are definitely highlights, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and service need significant improvement.

Location is terrific. Great beach view. Right on the esplanade making long walks by the beach easy.

The cleanliness and decor were second to none. Immediately felt relaxed and excited for our stay upon entering room. Loved having direct access to pool from room and the views were spectacular. Perfect location to walk to everything. Would 100% stay and recommend this place to stay again!

Amazing location. Beach view was stunning from room. Absolutely loved this property. Perfect location in Laguna Beach. Zero complaints, only gratitude for being able to stay there for a beautiful weekend.

There was a wedding going on near our room and could hear loud music until 10pm, then all the guests leaving and going to pool and hot tub area to continue their partying til 3am. We didn’t sleep at all and it was way too expensive for what it was. I wouldn’t stay here again for the money. The hotel is too small for wedding parties.

Best location and right near town and main beach. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Many art galleries near by. A nice touch is their welcome drink, nightly delicious cookies and frozen grapes by the pool in the afternoon. It’s also so nice they give you an umbrella to use at the beach along with towels. We parked our car and never used it again until we left. There is a free trolley to get around town if you forecast to walk. Nothing
