Wonderful hotel for the price.Laguna is very pricey and this hotel was a good value. Beach was close by down the stairs. Felix very helpful at the front desk. I would definitely go back. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room was small but clean. Rooftop restaurant was fantastic with beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. All in all wonderful stay.

Exceptional

You’re paying for the location. Our bathroom was an accident waiting to happen. Mgmt should really look into adding a grab bar in the bathroom and it can use some room upgrades. Location is very convenient with trollleys available to lots of places

Can’t say enough good things about the helpful staff

I honestly had the most beautiful trip to Laguna Beach and want to give a HUGE thank you to La Casa Del Camino and their AMAZING staff!! Not only is the location perfect, just a short walk to the beach, close by delicious food spots, hand crafted ice cream, ocean front views but the employees go above and beyond! The front desk workers gave amazing recommendations for nearby, they have the trolley schedule available for guests, they offer beach towels and beach chairs for those enjoying the beach and have the most beautiful rooftop bar and dining terrace! The food at the rooftop lounge was phenomenal! The drinks were amazing and I felt so lucky that our hotel had all of these amazing amenities. What a lovely place! I have been telling all of my friends to stay here and I know without a doubt I will be back!! Thank you so much La Casa Del Camino!

location and nice, friendly staff. Comfortable bed, Charming old hotel. Concrete sink!...rough rocks concrete shower! Old wooden windows that don't open. Air conditioning set on very cold and hi mode; can't be changed; tv didn't work. Very dirty carpet.

Great place to stay staff was very awesome. I would definitely go again.

Disappointing

The $30/day resort fee is supposed to cover access to local gym. We used this in the past and were really disappointed that despite listing it on the website, they no longer offer that . The room needed some love- peeling paint, corrosion on sink faucets, flickering lights, The breakfast is laughable- coffee, tea and packaged instant oatmeal and packaged muffin. The room (l*Space Suite) was misrepresented as well- we had one of the artist upgraded rooms- there was no faux leather logo chair nor was there the "dreamy soft grey cashmere blanket and pillow" as mentioned on website. There is no ice machine, need to contact the desk and they bring it. The phone did not work. The TV did not work and although they sent someone to look, the "fix" did not work either. They refunded the resort fee for two of our three nights to make up for the TV problem. Front desk did not accept the agreed rate we booked with Expedia which included the resort fee, they charged that in addition. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella were available but the covers with straps were gone so carrying was a bit awkward. Not a deal breaker. It is an old hotel that has charm but needs some care. Have a meal and a drink on the roof but maybe stay elsewhere.

What a wonderful place to visit Laguna! The staff was super friendly, the facilities exceptional, and the location perfect to enjoy the beach and area around. I will definitely come back!
-
The hotel was a bit run down, otherwise it was all OK, and good value.
-
The room was very clean and comfortable. The fact there was parking is wonderful and so helpful. It was so nice staying at the hotel I would definitely want to come back again in the future.

Not very clean room. Extremely old building that looked dirty, room had a lock that wouldn’t unlock so we had to use the latch to lock instead. Bed was smashed up against the wall so partner had to crawl to the end of the bed to get to the bathroom. TV was not working. Halls were dirty. I would not stay here again.

Love the location!

The hotel is old. Needs sone work even if it takes away some the old time charm. Lobby, upon arrival, smelled liked an assisted living area. Needs cleaning. Could have been the AC as it was very hot and they were working hard. The rooftop bar is very charming with great views. Rooms, were ok with portable air conditioner. Toilet very low with a broken seat. Very difficult to rebook this hotel.
