Had construction of a new home 15 ft from my bathroom window so that was a nice wake-up call every morning at 7am. They shouldn't have rented that room because of it.

Great location in Laguna Beach, walkable to many restaurants and galleries. Free trolley stop close by. Clean room and comfortable bed. Hotel should NOT advertise that they have a continental breakfast. Before we settled in for the night we asked at the front desk for breakfast hours and were told the breakfast would be fruit, yogurt and pastry - but when we showed up the next morning there were 2 bright green bananas (inedible), a plate of small, stale cookies and a mini size drinkable yogurt (think sample size). They would put out snacks in the office - one random granola bar at a time. For what we paid for the room they either need to lower the price and forget the breakfast, or offer a true continental breakfast with muffins/pastry, full size yogurt and multiple fruit options, maybe some granola. It was the weakest hotel breakfast we had ever seen!

Decent location. It’s a nicer motel style building. The receptionist helped me with the self serve latte maker.

The room was small but clean. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. They have coffee and snacks for breakfast and the location was great. Never had to drive anywhere. I would stay again for sure!

The fact I had to imagine what my ocean view could’ve looked like. Complete scam! Paying $1,200 for a premium ocean view only to have it compromised by active construction without prior notice or a price adjustment is completely unacceptable. Had this issue been disclosed, I would have booked alternative accommodations. This ultimately ruined my stay due to the fact that we were out in Laguna for my 21st birthday. The photos on here look nothing like the actual thing.

I expected an more than average hotel since i paid $1074 dllrs for 2 nights! However it was a very basic hotel, yes it had ocean view buy not as expected

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was welcoming and professional. We loved renting beach chairs and beach towels to take with us to the beach. We look forward to staying again soon!

This hotel was a miss. It is in dire need of updating. The shower had zero water pressure and hot/cold issues. The beach access is deceiving; you cannot access it directly from the hotel - you will need to walk down the street adjacent to the hotel and there you will find the steps. Also, there isn't much beach, and once high tide comes in, there is zero beach access. I will look for different accommodations the next time I visit Laguna Beach.

Misleading. Booked hotel because it said it had direct beach access with chairs and umbrellas. It is next to a public walkway that leads to a public beach…..and chairs, towels, umbrellas all rental from front office. The website made it seem like hotel was beachfront with chairs and umbrellas set up! Rooms are clean but tiny for the price. We had ocean view queen. The shower was horrible! The shower head was not adjustable and sprayed toward back of shower overhead. If you were over 6ft it’d be great, but average 5’6 hard to get water on your body! Water pressure was non existent.

I enjoyed the close proximity to all the beaches! We were just steps away from beach access and watching the sunset nearby was great. We also had a bunch of restaurants to choose from nearby that had rooftop bars. I enjoyed the coffee that was 5 minute walking distance near the hotel it was one of the best I’ve had! The place is small and quaint. The view point was decent enough, our balcony was overlooking a house and across the house was where the ocean view was. So it wasn’t completely obstructed. There was construction in front of our building so we didn’t have as much privacy as we wanted on our balcony as there were people working on the house. The air conditioning was great for the summer heat. We had access to coffee and water with ice in the hotel lobby room. Staff was friendly and check in was easy and straight forward. We would stay here again for the price point and for the accessibility near beach access and restaurants.
