The property was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. They offer beach towels, chairs and other beach equipment rentals, which was reasonably priced and convenient. The location was walkable to many restaurant, music venues and of course the beach. We were on the second floor and had a lovely ocean view. One drawback: there was a roofline in front of us that blocked the view of the shoreline, but we could see the ocean. We had a very large deck with a couple of chairs and table for morning coffee or evening cocktail. The room also had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee and light snacks (fruit, yogurt, pastries) were offered in the lobby - all of which were convenient. The bedding was pretty, but the bed was not the most comfortable nor the pillows (not horrible, but not the best) - but the location, conveniences, cleanliness all made up for that. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again and again!

Property was ok. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom had small ants everywhere and the curtain were not blackout curtains. The curtains were a little transparent which didn't feel too private. Also the bathroom had a frosted window with no curtain and there were houses in the back with windows at the same level, again not too private. We paid an extra $177 to be upstairs and it's not a clear view to the ocean, buildings partially obstructed the view. Also in the morning there was a child downstairs screaming at 8am and not sure if anyone told the family to quiet down, so not so great of a sleep in. All in all, it's a pretty good location, but definitely in need of upgrades. Staff was great!

I booked two different suites from June 28-June 30. Both suites were absolutely delightful, roomy, clean and well maintained. My family and I could see and hear the ocean, as well as feel the salty breeze. Everything we were looking for during our short getaway to Laguna. I thought the on-site staff was delightful. All my pre-trip questions were answered in a timely manner, I was not disappointed. There was adequate parking, the lobby area was well maintained and stocked with coffee and goodies. Short walk to beach access, although the tides were very high and we did not access the beach but observed the power and majesty of the Pacific Ocean our first night. Early morning beach exploration (low tide) was delightful.

Friendly staff and close to the ocean

The employee checking me in was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The property and room were clean. The room itself was awesome, kitchenette, king bed, balcony with view of the ocean. Very very nice. Free parking and a small continental breakfast.

The room was cozy and we felt right at home. I would come back! I’ve been raving about this place! It’s beautiful and well located!

Well maintained older property. Great restaurants and beach nearby. Rooms not large but well appointed. Only complaint is that there was no chair (nor was there a desk). So chives for seating were bed or art deco stools. Not the most comfortable.

This hotel was so beautiful for my wife and I to spend our mini-moon at!! It’s a smaller hotel, but feels intimate and romantic. Beautiful sunset views down the steps towards the beach, we had a wonderful experience here!

Nice place. Clean and quiet . Only complaint is the flowers in their package . Some of them were dying .Not worth the money

Super beautiful location fillec with flowers and friendly staff. Only knock that would stop us from returning is the bed we had was super hard and pretty uncomfortable. All in all beautiful hotel

Friendly staff. Slept in an ocean facing room and awakened to the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach. Included parking was a nice bonus.

The small hotel is a throwback from the 70’s. Nicely maintained. Parking is included and free. The room was just adequate, but it was quite clean. One of the electrical outlets did not work. The bathroom and shower were small. It had a decent balcony and a partial view of the ocean. The hotel is 2 minutes or less of a walk from a very nice 180 degree view of the ocean.

Great location for easy beach access and local shopping and dining. Simple well appointed rooms. I’ll go again!

Amazing time!

I had a great birthday at Laguna cove hotel! The staff was friendly and went above and beyond in giving me and my boyfriend a comfortable and great stay! I can’t wait to come back my boyfriend and I would love to stay here again and stay in the same room with the beautiful view from the balcony. We will be staying here again and maybe even every time we come into town! The cookies + coffee and bananas every morning were a great touch at the front desk, and the cute snoopy shorts! See you soon Laguna big thank you for making my trip special <3
