Staff and location was amazing! So helpful and genuine. Bashir and Morgan were wonderful offering local insight and recommendations. We met Nick at the happy hour ensuring everyone was enjoying their stay. The waves at high tide picked up my flip flops at the bottom of the steps to the sand :) What's not to like? Your at a beachfront property right next door to a more modern and expensive resort!

We loved the unbeatable location- being able to walk straight downstairs to the beach is incredible, especially with a baby. The heated pool is perfect when the ocean is too cold, and we love being within walking distance of Laguna’s best restaurants. Most of all, the staff, especially Nick and Morgan, make every stay feel so warm, personal and special. Honestly, there’s very little we don’t like! We’ve stayed four times in the past year and keep coming back, which says it all.

There’s quite a few (Positano style) steep stairs to take to get down to the beach, so just being able to walk down without having to carry anything is everything. Nick the general manager and his entire team went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They made the trip, it feels like staying with family in Europe. They also have a pool (you can use for the kids) when the beach gets to be too much and it’s very helpful to have everything right there. Some rooms are better than others, we’ve stayed twice and the beach view and beach front rooms are better bang than the standard queen rooms for the money. It’s worth the splurge. Remember, it’s a beach front hotel in Laguna Beach. Walking distance to everything!!! No need to get in your hot car for any reason. We will be back, and can’t thank Nick, Bachir, Morgan & Esme for such a great stay.

Good Location to walk to beaches and downtown area…room with nice balcony overlooking the ocean and most staff very nice, cute little happy hour and continental breakfast. Parking but small spaces. The only thing I didn’t like is that I called the office to let them know we were running about 15 minutes late to check out and they said no problem then housekeeping kept pressuring us to leave asap! First the cleaning lady and I told her the office said no problem then a lady who looked like the manager of the housekeeping came and stood there till we left like a jerk

Location was great the hotel had the theme of Capri and it really embodied it. Staff were very friendly. The hotel itself was quite run down and needs some updating with paint etc - the entrance to the hotel was tapped off as the ceiling had fallen through.

Fantastic location. Hotel and the rooms are dated. The a/c is a mobile floor unit wired in that blew well in the living room but not that well in the bedroom. The room smells of moist mold. The entire place is worn and looks like it is over due on it deferred maintenance. We had a 1 bedroom and the rooms were outdated and can use a refresh. The odor was a disappointment.

We liked that the beach was so close but felt that overall the hotel did not live up to the pictures. Our room had an interesting smell and the pool was warm but tiny. The location was great proximity to shops and restaurants but I am unlikely to stay here again.

Beautiful ocean view property. Comfortable beds and staff was helpful. Enjoyed the views and complimentary coffee and cookies. Note the breakfast is continental - mostly breads and carbs, but many cute cafes are nearby. Appreciated the parking onsite. There is a free trolley but the app doesn’t work and service is sporadic. Only concern was too many kids - loud at the pool, deck during sunset, and breakfast area. This is not an adults only place; it reflects more on the parents than the property.
