Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace - Disney Springs® Area

The gent at reception Logan was lovely he really couldn’t do enough for us and the location was perfect for Disney Springs, the transport to all Disney Parks was also great, really easy to book and very reliable . Unfortunately the hotel itself was extremely run down and quite dirty on the landings leading towards the rooms. We even discussed with a Hilton representative that tried to sign my parents up to Hilton Honours and still nothing was done. The cleaners only changed our bedding once in two weeks even after tipping and asking for it to be changed, the glasses in the room where never changed and the floor was not once vacuumed. It’s a shame as it’s not what we would really expect from Hilton and it did impact our holiday. Some days you could also smell smoke from people smoking in the rooms. I would not recommend the hotel due to the cleanliness.

The rooms were clean they kept up with cleaning and making sure we had fresh towels. The pool area was very nice a lot of trash though just every where. When I tried asking for help regarding transportation it was confusing and not super helpful but once I got the hang of it. It was easy to navigate. We stayed in room 584. The noise from the lobby that comes into the room throughout the night and in the early hours is horrible. The sink cannot be turned off and drips all night. There were ants in the bathroom out the window on top of the roof were cigarette buds everywhere. The back of the ironing board was filled with filth and dust. The iron itself spewed out gunk onto our clothes. Not a Sole offered to help us unpack or bring in our bags from valet and we had a baby. Overall, the room and hallways were dingy and need serious repair repairs. Not at all what you would expect from the Hilton brand. If I knew I could upload photos to my review, I would have taken them.

Parking was a problem. Parking is not convenient to the hotel in any way.

I think they shouldn't charge parking and they should have better prices at breakfast, when travelling with children and teenagers it is very expensive to eat at the hotel. But the hotel is beautiful. My children and I enjoyed it.

The safe in our room was not working and it took 2 hours to fix it. It caused a delay in our plan that day. Otherwise, the place overall was an excellent place to stay, breakfast buffet is sumptuous with lots of options and the buffet staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

Great place, great location

Our stay was very nice. The only complaints I have is there was no complimentary coffee in the morning, the night light in the bathroom was too bright and the lazy river was evacuated to fix a light that could have been fixed at night when it wasn't so busy.

Management said they overbooked and did not have any kings available. But they agreed to change our room out for our booked room the next night. We were comped $100 credit. Next night we got our original booked room. However it smelled like old cigarettes and there was actual poop dried on the side of the toilet. Not impressed by this hotel. Check out over $100 in fees. Won’t book again

This was a beautiful property but very little signs explaining where to go despite how big it is.. I paid for parking online then got there and they told me no I didn’t, I have to pay $38 for parking.. then a resort fee $40 to use the amenities instead of adding that in the total of how much pay upfront. The bottle of water in the shop was $8 for a “large” dude it’s a regular bottle of spring water are we serious. Then the staff at the front was very unwelcoming and not warm at ALL. Disappointed to say the least, ESPECIALLY for a Disney partner hotel. Will not be returning the only nice experience was the lazy river.

I appreciate the $50 Hilton credit they offered, but honestly, it did not make up for the inconvenience or the overall experience. The replacement room was also not up to the standard I expected from Hilton. We spent our time and money expecting the room we reserved, and instead we had to deal with frustration from the moment we arrived. I believe Hilton should honor confirmed reservations, and when they cannot, they should provide a much more appropriate resolution. I have contacted Hilton regarding this issue and am requesting a full refund and additional compensation for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property. I hope management takes this seriously and makes it right.
