Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area

The lobby is a huge deception of what the actual rooms look like. Everything was old and rusted. We asked for a change of sheets and was told someone would come change them for us but no one ever came. I will never take my family there again.

Great location within walking distance of Disney Springs, which was a huge plus. The room was clean overall, although I did notice a couple of hairs in the bathroom. Other than that, everything seemed well maintained, and I didn’t have any issues during my stay. The property has great amenities, including a resort-style pool and arcade. There’s also a convenient on-site market for joffrey’s coffee, breakfast items, lunch, snacks, and drinks, plus a machine with toiletries and other travel essentials in case you forget something. The complimentary shuttle to the Disney parks was really convenient too. It runs about every hour and continues for a while after the parks close, so getting back to the hotel was easy. Overall, it was a great value, and I’ll definitely be staying here again I’m already booking my next stay!

So close to Disney Springs - lots of dining options there. Pool is nice and lobby has Joffreys!

Room had some mold above the closet that is by the bathroom. I had to unclog the bathtub from a hair clog from a previous guest, as the tub was not draining, so tub was slippery. Brought us to lay a towel in bathtub instead of offering a non slip mat. Did not suggest help for the almost non draining tub. Door was not well sealed so room was humid. Rusted bottom of doors that have been painted over. Staff was not super helpful nor inviting. This is the 4th time we have stayed here, and the check in desk, not the bell hops. They used to come up to the car to see if you needed anything, but this time we had to request a luggage cart. They used to do pin trading for Disney pins but do not anymore. They had a character breakfast in 2019/2020 but no longer have that. The Sunset side seemed nicer when we stayed last time, but both times the sunrise side seemed less taken care of. The Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Sunset is better, and the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista seems to be where there effort is mainly focused at the moment.

My only complaint is I paid for early check in- and did online check out- and the house keeping still knocked on my door at 8:55am when check out is 11am. I get they need to clean but I had 3 hours still. Otherwise it was great. Shuttle service bus broke down on way to parks but they got us switched quickly enough we still made rope drop. Overall would absolutely stay here again. Take your own food though bc it was very pricey to eat bar food.

Location is great, but garden room was uncomfortable, the bed, pillows were uncomfortable, there were no extra blankets and the sheet barely covered me.

Hotel lost power during our stay so we had to leave the property to get our young kids out of the heat with no AC, when the power was back on the AC didn’t work properly, the water bucket of the water park feature wasn’t on, the food at the poolside included a 10% gratuity that I bet didn’t even go to the staff,

None of this is discussed at booking I don’t mind a deposit and got it all back but 500? And nothing about the other fees
