Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs® Area

Our party was 4 adults and 1 infant, and I requested a crib in advance. At check-in, I was informed that they only had a reservation for 1 room. I showed the front desk agent my confirmation on my phone clearly showing 2 rooms. She stated she could only see 1 room, that if I wanted a second room I would have to pay a new, higher rate, and that there was nothing she could do because it was a "third party" booking. No attempt was made to contact a supervisor or find a solution, despite the fact that she knew we had a baby with us. We were forced to stay cramped, 4 adults and a baby in one room with a crying infant all night. At check-out, another receptionist reviewed the reservation and commented that it was "weird, why it said duplicated." This leads me to believe your system incorrectly flagged my two valid reservations as a duplicate and removed one. I did not raise my voice at check-in because I was on vacation and did not want to ruin our peace, but I left very frustrated by the lack of empathy and effort. Later the manager confirmed there was another reservation under my husbands name. Which again it shows the lack of effort from The staff to find out what happen. It could have been easy fix if she just offer to get a supervisor or ask more open questions to find out what happened. I will not be returning.

Front desk workers were so welcoming and sweet! Property is beautiful and they accommodated everything to our needs.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of nice areas for pictures. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. For us, it works perfectly for a family of five. The staff can be a little hit or miss. Since we’ve stayed here many times, we’ve had some employees who were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, while others were a little more cold and simply did the basics of their job. It really depends on who you get. Overall, we keep coming back because of the location close to Disney, the breakfast, the amenities, the cleanliness, and the comfortable rooms. For our family, it’s definitely worth staying here.

Our reservation got lost which set the whole stay off on the wrong foot. The night staff was not great at all. The hidden resort fee is just wrong. It wasn’t disclosed at booking and the staff was not understanding in the least.

it wasn’t bad but I’ve stayed at other 4 star hotels that were nicer and offered better amenities. I placed in their second building that the shower looked very not nice. The room overall wasn’t bad except that I was not able to open the deck/patio door. Honestly won’t come back cause there are other nicer hotels for the same price
