SpringHill Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Marriott Village

Considering the price, I expected a much better experience. There are definitely better hotels in the same price range that offer better service and value for money. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here.

Staff members were friendly

Breakfast is great . Closed to shopping areas.

The bathroom needs upgrading. Mold on the ceiling. Rugs need shampooing. Pull out sofa bed was worn down to the springs and had holes in it. Air conditioner was making loud noises.

My second time I stayed with my family and they did not disappoint me. I will continue to take a stay in Springhill as an option and I will definitely recommend it.

Only one elevator working in the mornings. Breakfast buffet after 8:15AM not offering full selection anymore. Also, offering the same items every day becomes unattractive if you stay for about a week. Rooms were clean but need an update. The mattress on one of the beds was way too soft and sagging. Air conditioning very loud and located too close to one of the beds, so the air was blowing right at you. Staff overall very friendly.

The hotel is old and it shows.

0/10 Do NOT recommend. The pictures online are fabricated. It looks NOTHING like the pictures. Do NOT stay here. The carpets are heavily soiled. The rooms are dark and have a weird smell upon entry. Sheets has VISIBLE stains on them. There was hair in the FOLDED “clean” towels. The rooms need an overhaul. Please do not stay here. I don’t know your level of cleanliness but this place needs a lot of work and should be removed as a listing until they provide what they show in the pictures. It also cost $26/day for parking. The only pro was it was within walking distance to a few restaurants (BJs, Bahama Breeze, Golden Corral and more). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Bed was to small for my family

I also didn’t appreciate having to pay $26. For one night stay for parking.

Our experience was less than great. We don’t usually use a pull out couch in our room so we weren’t expecting comfort from the mattress but we were expecting cleanliness. There were crumbs on the mattress and something sticky (maybe gum) stuck to the blanket. Housekeeping also didn’t come for the entirety of our stay. It was extremely loud and people were running up and down the halls for days banging on doors. I know the staff can’t control what guests are doing but it took until night 3 of our stay for someone to come and actually say something to these people. 200 dollars in parking and additional fees for 3 nights… We will not stay here again.

Clean room helpful staff

The room itself was okay, and the pool and hot tub were fine. However, the hallway carpets were filthy, covered with stains, and made the hotel feel unclean. The biggest issue was the billing. At check-in, I was charged for my stay, which was expected. Then the hotel charged my card daily for parking and later attempted to charge the security deposit separately. When that transaction didn’t go through, they charged my card again, causing my bank to block my credit card for suspected fraud. I went to the front desk, and although I was told the issue was fixed, my room keys were deactivated, and I had to wait nearly an hour for new ones. The next day, the same thing happened to my second credit card. Both of my cards were blocked, leaving me with no access to my money while traveling with my three children. To make matters worse, it’s now been 10 days since I checked out, and I still haven’t received my security deposit refund. The billing issues, blocked credit cards, deactivated room keys, and delayed refund made this an incredibly stressful stay. I would not stay here again.
