Holiday Inn & Suites Lake City by IHG

Towels were dirty, not clean long enough or with detergent floor was dirty TV light switches windows have never been wiped down toilet was broken and very slow. No bugs we had to pay for breakfast two dollars each and it was not worth it. Nothing like a Holiday Inn express breakfast two servers and an empty restaurant really disappointed once we stayed at the same type of Holiday Inn in Ocala and pretty much the same results very disappointed we’ll stick to Holiday Inn express for travelers where we have been mostly satisfied

Very nice staff. My 8 yrs old enjoyed the swimming pool and we enjoyed a great clean room. The breakfast was only $1.99 and it was good too.

Parking was good and all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast should have been included in the room price for what it was. Even though it was only $7.99, it should have been included. Had a great bar area and bartender who stayed with us after the bar was closed. Actually, we checked in around the time the bar was closing. 9 PM is early I thought and we were not going to ask for drinks once we found out it was closed, but he volunteered and said he would serve us while he was cleaning up. It was greatly appreciated. I wish I had gotten his name to give a shout out. We were in town for a funeral and booked this on the way to Florida. Expedia was very easy to use. I didn't get a receipt at the hotel which was unexpected. I was told Expedia had to provide that. Overall, I would stay here again but try to check in earlier to get some great drinks!

Front desk was nice but pretty much told us tough luck finding a luggage cart and with two little kids we had to make so many trips to get settled into our room. It wasnt clean, wrappers and trash on the floor, some brown powder in the sink, bath faucet was dripping the whole night. I really dont understand how they charge for breakfast, there are very very little options. No pancakes, waffles. Only toast and not very appetizing pastries. It is not worth the money we paid.

Convenient everything are walk distance away from the hotel.

A decent but basic stay. Nothing offered besides the basic room. Breakfast no included, but the room was clean, house keeping came often, and the bartender was super nice. Decent stay overall.

Room was not clean, worn and musty smelling. Bed had work dipped "gully" on mattress. We were not impressed. Furniture was worn and marked up. Maybe it was just our room but I suspect not based on the overall condition of the property.

The shower was old and could use some grout. The hotel seemed updated except the elevator, it definitely requires updating
