There is a huge gap at the front door and a lot of things could get inside of the room. The television worked for a half hour, and then it turned itself off, and no matter what I could do I could not get it back on. Another person was having this problem during my check in. My room was pretty nice. It is a budget motel and it is important to keep that in mind. This is not the worst by any stretch of the imagination, but it is not a high end hotel. It is absolutely no frills but good for an overnight stay for travelers on a tight budget.

So being a free for pets hotel was the main draw, but the rooms were nice and big. For the price we paid it was an awesome room even if the floors were pretty gross.

The staff was friendly but that’s about the only good thing I really have to say about it. The door was damaged and would not shut properly. It almost looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. I had to pile a bunch of things in front of it to make it harder to open. The room did not feel clean and the bed was musty. There were people outside the room being loud and fighting right outside the door all hours of the night. I did not sleep at all. I would have left if my we hadnt of been so exhausted from traveling for hours on end.

Not really anything There were cockroaches in the bathroom. Mattress were worn out 5 years ago., and really!!! No amenities but 1 small bar of soap. You should let people know they need to bring their own shampoo. And the trash can needs to be emptied more than once a month. Stunk so bad we had to cover our faces to keep from gagging. I will never stay at another Motel 6. And the pillows looked like they came out of a dumpster. Trashy all the way around.

Upon checking in, the whole idea of a Motel 6 by the freeway and it's reservations, completely vanished upon opening up my room door. The room was larger than any standard hotel, it smelled fresh, you could eat of the floor, the bathroom smelled disinfected, linens crisp...wow!! This hotel set the bar for all others in the area, including the upper brands. I'll stay here before any where else when I travel thru Lake City again!! That's for sure!!

Loud guests on my last night. A bit tough to find the entrance.

Amazing stay

On a positive note it was convenient to restaurants and the interstate and cheap. Got just slightly less than I paid for. We were just passing through but I will be washing everything that came in contact with the room.

When we arrived, there was a sign on the door that the person would return momentarily and it was locked. The parking lot was sketchy with a lot of cars and people going in and out of one room in particular. Once we did get checked in, the room we booked (a king) didn’t ha e a working tv so we took a room with 2 queens. We went to that room, the tv didn’t work, there were cobwebs and live bugs. We decided it wasn't a good choice to stay and left. The clerk said since we booked through Orbitz/Expedia, that I'd have to try and get a refund from them rather than the hotel itself. Wow, just wow. I've NEVER seen a hotel selling rooms with live bugs before.GROSS

Bed had glitter and hair in the covers. We found multiple bugs and roaches and cracks along the walls and door.

Over all everything is good an hope to be there again in the future

Arrived and front desk was very nice but the room was not clean. The sheets had blood stain and yellow stains. There were used soaps. Towels all very small and stained. Smelled like cigarettes even though nonsmoking. Would not ever stay at any motel.

No breakfast offered.

This hotel was the second most discussing hotel I’ve seen in my 60 years. The floors were so horrible that I never took my shoes off. There was crap on the wall. The rooms were nonsmoking but one smelled like an ashtray, the other smelled of marijuana. Thank goodness I checked the window in back of the room because it was slightly open and unlocked. If we had not just traveled over 13 hours in all the storms, I would have demanded a refund and kept going. Lesson learned for me. I pray that this review helps you to keep going. DO NOT STOP HERE!!!!!

The hotel is a little tired although they have updated it somewhat. Rooms are clean. The staff are helpful and very nice. Wish they had morning coffee service in the lobby but the IHOP is just up the street.
