Chateau Royale Inn

The location was excellent and the staff were so helpful and kind. The rooms and amenities are pretty bare bones but still an exceptionally good value.

Room was clean. Front desk staff was great. Bed was only ok. Sank to center. May have just been missing middle support.

Way too old. Waste of money. Maybe worth $20 but paid $120. Less comfortable than a fold up chair Old room. Terrible bed. Horrible bathroom. Lake Geneva is a a dump town so the hotel price was horrible

Friendly workers. As soon as you enter the lobby there is a very bad smell. In some cases a very offensive odor.

Love staying in the castle for Garycon.

The location is better than an other hotel I tried on the far side of the lake. Heavy trash around the hotel was cleaned up. Internet slightly improved. They do need to use diffrent channels on the WI fi broadcasts. Right now they are all in a center channel and are competing against each other. I would stay there again.

The sheets were clean and it was bed bug free Old facility. Needs weren't that comfy

Good location. Bathroom fan was very loud. Not clean. Room needs more electrical outlets.

The price was perfect and the location was just what I needed. Wish the pool was opened but I understand they're waiting to get it fixed

Location vice and close Sheets seemed dirty, someone's hair was on one of the beds and alos in the sink.

Price Breakfast was not provided. No pool even though it was advertised. I stayed there almost 40 years ago and nothing has changed- same decore. The advertisement pictures were from the 80’s. No amenities, like a hair dryer or coffee maker. The room could have been cleaner and the hallways smelled like cigarettes. This was definitely false advertisement. The staff blamed it on Booking.com

Solid old building - everything worked as expected close to downtown - low price No elevator

We had 2 beds but there was only one towel and one rag. I know I could have asked for more but I had brought my own towels and rags so we didn’t use the one that was there. I was charged for stolen towels and when I called to explain all the owner said was I will double check with housekeeping and if that’s true I will take the charge off and hung up on me. If housekeeping is going to count towels and accuse someone of stealing then they need to put the correct amount of towels in the room to begin with.

The desk clerk was very accommodating. He was even willing to upgrade our room. We had to wait a little while for another couple to get checked in. I noticed there was a lot of dust behind the bed's headboard. The room was dusty throughout.

It’s a classic motel w basic room amenities Great place for quick stays and not wanting much more than a place to sleep and hang out a bit Old school vibes- not modern. Very welcoming & accommodating staff - everyine was so very nice!!! Nikki, Eric and the owner - whose name escapes me. Not enough time there to know.

Very quiet in our room. Room and bed was very clean and comfortable, so we slept very well. Staff very friendly. Had a wonderful visit. We plan to return. It was perfect for our needs.
