The Cove Of Lake Geneva

We love the cove!! We stay there atleast 3-5 times a year! It was amazing as usual and the staff is always super accommodating. We swam this morning after a large storm last night so the only recommendation is to have an outdoor pool cleaning system that can work quickly and better than skimming the pool after a storm. There were a lot of bugs and mosquitoes in the pool this morning. Other than that, no complaints! Thank you as always!

I paid a premium price and was told I had an updated suite, it was not. Shower upstairs had no hot water, outlets were outdated, and TV remotes didn’t work.

Parking was terrible the rooms were clean but furnishing was outdated. lots children running around. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend at this hotel look somewhere else.

Update the coffee maker and the TV

More staff needed to help with check in/check out

Our microwave didn’t work. We didn’t have a frying pan and they were short staffed. Couldn’t use the outdoor pool for over an hour past it should have opened due to lack of life guard on premise

When we arrived at check-in, the line of people waiting for their rooms grew out the door. After waiting, we were given a key and proceeded to the room. With my baby in tow, we entered…only to find a man and some belongings inside. The concierge had given us access to a room with someone already in it! Poor guy was in the bathroom and probably as startled as we were. Back at the desk, a staff member looked up new rooms, but seemed more occupied with the line behind us than the mistake. Eventually, the staff refunded our nightly resort fees, and gave us a new room. Other people behind us in line were clearly unhappy about the wait, and at least three different parties seemed to be waiting because the hotel had overbooked. No luggage carts were available for over an hour, so we had to make multiple trips up and down to bring in our stuff. The next morning, I was excited to bring our baby to the pool, advertised as open at 8 AM, but at 8:05, staff informed us that the pool was being serviced and would not be ready til 9. An hour later, staff then told us that the pool would not be opening until 10 am due to a life guard no-show. This occurred on a day forecast to be over 90 degrees. Management never came down to assist the pool staff with angry customers. I came here countless times growing up, but was surprised by the fact that rooms have not been maintained well either. Our room appeared to only have been minimally cleaned between guests, which was gross and disappointing.

Loved the Cove. Would highly recommend. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Very clean and close to everything.

The suite was clean and everything we needed for cooking was supplied. Housekeeping was wonderful! All the staff was super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a suite room it was out dated didn’t have cover for lights fan in bathroom like it wanted to take of tv problems took 2 days to fix door from bedroom to bathroom didn’t shut properly that didn’t get fixed. The pool and restaurant was fine.

The room was very clean. It was nice having a stocked kitchen. The room was big and spacious. The best about this resort was location. Right downtown, on the lake, walking distance to everything. However, in the room it needed a better quality mattress and a bathroom update. It was clean but had original fixtures and looked tired.

This place was an amazing place to be at with older kids. We absolutely loved it!
