Sway Hotel Lake Havasu

All was very well at the Sway access to all shopping and eating!!

Nice stay and friendly staff.

Trip hazard outside the front doors. Front doors are supposed to be automatic but needed to be manually opened and shut. Nice lady in the morning when I dropped by but in the afternoon it was "self-service" checkin. Was O.K. till I got to a screen that did not have a 'Continue". So I reentered everything and somehow got to the screen to create my room key. Very scarry to be checking in electronically with no manual /human backup. I did see workers or owners around but they never smiled or talked to me or other guests. Pool was green. I left at 5:00 AM and there was a sign on the door to call . I called to say I was checking out and they just said I was automatically checked out. ( he did not ask my name or room number, again there is a sever distance issue between staff and clients. Room was ultra clean. But many new devices like a mirror in the bathroom that had some touchscreen capabilities but I still do not know what it did or offered. Plug on on desk/counter was dead. My room was on the first floor and the only window opened to the parking lot. So it was blacked out with very good shades. But I felt like I was in Solitary confinement. Not much can be done about this because o the layout of the rooms.

To be honest, there wasn’t anything we particularly liked about our stay. The only positive was that the location was decent, but overall the experience was disappointing. From the deserted appearance of the property to the accessibility issues and lack of staff assistance, the hotel did not meet our expectations, and we would not choose to stay there again. What I disliked most about my stay at the Sway Hotel in Lake Havasu was the lack of staff assistance and accessibility. After checking in through the self-service kiosk, I programmed my own room keys. As a first-time visitor to Lake Havasu, I was excited to start our trip. However, my room was assigned to the second floor, and there was no convenient way to roll our suitcases upstairs. I was traveling with my husband, my 9-year-old son, and my elderly mother, and we had several pieces of luggage. The temperature was well over 100 degrees on the day we arrived. After driving all the way from Los Angeles, my son and mother were exhausted and eager to cool off and rest. Unfortunately, when we reached our room, the door would not unlock. I tried all three key cards, but none of them worked. I repeatedly walked back and forth to the lobby, carrying luggage in the extreme heat, trying to find someone who could help. There was no staff available to assist us. My husband was understandably upset watching our family struggle in the heat, especially with our son and my mother becoming increasingly tired and uncomfortable. After becoming overheated, exhausted, and frustrated, we had no choice but to leave and book another hotel. This was an incredibly disappointing start to what was supposed to be an enjoyable family vacation. Better staff availability, customer support, and accessibility would have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to families traveling with children or elderly guests.

Great views, ac worked great. Parking was close. All stores are down the block. What more could you ask for

The hotel was in the process of refurbishing. The room was nice, but the automatic door to check-in did not work. It was like a beach hotel to include a pool. Great view of Lake Havasu, and nice photos taken through the fence. Half a mile or so walking distance to the London Bridge. Restaurants and shopping in that area. Very nice.

We were impressed. Very nice room for the price!

We'll be back to stay again! Definitely will recommend.

Sway Hotel is one of the best hotels in Lake Havasu City, Az.

Cold AC. Staff was helpful and I enjoyed the simplicity of the hotel. I would stay there again!

We loved the music they played in the morning outside our rooms, but it was very loud even in the room and started at 7:00 am. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of bags, you may want to reserve a room on the ground floor. There were restaurants nearby and the London Bridge and lake were close.
