Motel 6 Lakeland, FL

Air conditioner barely worked and made weird noises, the bed sheets smelled like they were in dryer way to long burnt, there was an eye lash in corner of bathroom floor meaning last ppl left it and rooms weren't cleaned properly, there was still huge piles of dog poop in court yard, barely seen staff, the tub in room 218 has a what appeared to be some kind of extra mold thing to patch what I believe to be a hole in tub that if u stepped in would give way and make u feel as if u were gonna fall thru instead of replacing tub and doing it the right way. I am sorry this hotel is only one where dogs stay free which can be costly when traveling with ur fur babies but is it really worth ur safety and health??? I would not recommend this hotel unless u have strong immune system and stay on bottom floor. Oh also the room doors most do not close properly and the locks aren't great and the conjoined doors on some do not even have the middle of the lock to lock it so neighbors can't break into ur room. They don't give out but a bar of soap no shampoo nothing that would cost them anything extra but bare minimum the place down to the maintenance and cleaning bare minimum just to get by yet won't to charge u anywhere from 63-100$ a night and sometimes charge u a "hotel fee" when u check in. If u complain to guest relations they give u 5 days to answer their email and if u do they promise to expedite ur refund 3-5 days then say sorry 5-7days and after about 10 days still nothing just tell u.

The first night the police came and was making a lot of noice, the second night to fire alarm went on at 4am, I didn’t stayed for the third night even I’ve paid for it. I’ve cut my foot with the broken floor.

Hotel has a lot of manatees big attraction is close to a lot of eateries. Staff are very friendly.

Originally requested a first floor room when I made the reservation but since it was late when we arrived they gave us a room on the second floor when there was still empty rooms on the first floor.

I honestly had major reservations about staying at a Motel 6 because my past experiences have not been good with Motel 6s. We decided to go ahead and book at Lakeland Motel 6 because we were closing on a house and needed a place that would allow our pets. WE WERE EXTREMLY HAPPY. The staff was very professional and the pool was so clean and our rooms were great as well. If I had to pick something I didnt like, the upstairs neighbor was a little loud at times but nothing major.

Los nuevos maneger bueno uno de ellos despues que uno paga por expidia el dice que los precios reales son los de el motel no los de expidia y me hizo pagar una diferencia y tras de eso no quieren dar servicio de limpieza aunque kleves 3 semanas quedanfote en el hotel y yo limpio mi cuarto lo unico que pedi me cambiaran las sabanas y adicional a eso se tao la bañera y al otro dia se tapo el baño

Staff is nice, clean rooms. They put me in a quiet area of the hotel like I asked.

Absolutely nothing. Staff was extremely rude. I asked 3 different times for clean towels and sheets, none were brought. Definitely the worst stay in have ever had at a motel.

I was given a quiet secluded room with easy access for my son who is disabled.

But the office staff are rude & not understanding.. The cleaning ladies & maintenance guy were awesome! Also the $2.75 set price for washing a load of laundry was great!

I had to pay twice just to stay the 5th (Friday) booking and motel 6 was no help in recovering my money for a room that I didn’t even check into. Rooms were filthy had to be moved to multiple rooms

The staff wasn’t there when I got to the desk. 5 minutes and then the lady came walking in the door like I was bothering her, and never smiled or showed any pleasantry at all. The lobby smelled of weed. Got a room next to people who seemed to be almost residents, with a dog that yapped for 4-5 hours continuously. They were loud at times even after 11pm. The room itself looked okay, but after I had been in a few hours, I went to take a shower and found 3 socks behind the bathroom door - so how well did they clean the floors? The remote had no backing. The TV took a bit to figure out, and it was the DISH so had about 1000 channels to watch - not bad. Bed was okay. Near the main road with lots of stores, shops and restaurants. I paid for a lower quality hotel, and I guess that’s what I got!!!
