Front desk worker was lovely! Great having the restaurant on site and the $10 credit was much appreciated!
-
Somewhat older hotel a few minutes from Lancaster. The attached restaurant/bar is newer and is very popular. Outdoor swimming pool is good for kids.
-
Loved the hotel location, restaurant on site, and the staff was extremely helpful!

Clean room and nice front desk staff

Breakfast is not included, but there are options nearby. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, which has good food and friendly employees. This is NOT an updated property; it will never be confused with a big-city hotel, and the rooms are smaller than we were accustomed to. But for the price, it is a nice place to stay.

Pleasant stay

Perfect for what we needed it for
-
A Very old property which needs to be refurbished. The Bathroom caulking is black and falling out, some was already missing in our room. We stayed 3 nights. We asked for maid service to our room each morning and never received it. We had to walk to the office to get fresh towels. The complete experience was Poor at best.

Close to Dutch Apple.
-
Nice place, they do a lot of bus passengers. Had to wait more than normal because the buses were blocking everything.
-
Nice clean hotel with a quality restaurant attached to it. Staff is very nice and the location was idea (off a major highway but far enough away to feel rural)
-
Perfect stay and they allow pets

The hotel itself was great! The buffet breakfast and chef were a disaster. We got there at 10:05 breakfast is till 10:30. The chef outright refused to make any more biscuits saying they take 15 minutes and breakfast would be over. No potatoes or pancakes either but wanted to charge full price for half the food available. The chef’s response was rude and his own waitress staff agreed he needed to provide more food for the customers that were there wanting to eat. 25 minutes is enough time to eat breakfast.

at first glance the place seems outdated- but its more nostalgic/retro. Place is clean- beds comfortable. Staff polite

I’m not sure why this property has an 8.6 rating. It is extremely old and quite dirty. We booked two nights but didn’t stay either night. The reception staff was kind giving us a second room after the first room had a horrific smell. The second room smelled better but had dirty hand prints on the door trim and a musty spell coming from the AC vent. We were not comfortable staying there and had to find another hotel during a very busy weekend.

Booked through Expedia so hotel couldn’t give me a refund. When I called Expedia they said the hotel refused to give me a refund initially and then after 2 hours on the phone they refunded only 1 of the 2 days. Ernie is a poor example of hotel management. Stay far away from Heritage. The Arts Hotel Lancaster was super clean and accommodating and will always be my choice returning to Lancaster.

The food at the restaurant was amazing, very delicious, and not expensive. We will definitely come back and recommend.
