The room was not cleaned properly, there was trash still in the trash can fron a previous guest, there was hair on the bathroom floor and on the back side of the bathroom door. This was brought to the attention of management and was taken care of by the second day.

Check in/out was simple and quick. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, however the under sink garbage was full on day 1 when we first arrived. Room was clean and comfortable. B-fast was average.

The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. The carpet in our room was filthy. It had stains all over it. There were no toiletries on the sink vanity at all except for make up remover pads. I had to call down and request some hand soap for handwashing and that’s what I got nothing else. We hated the pillows, both myself and my husband they were extremely squishy. Probably one of the worst complementary breakfast we had at any hotel. :(

Location was great, staff was so friendly Everything was good. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and I wish the cleaning staff swept out the bathroom.

The best breakfast, staff and location. I am allergic to dogs and having assigned “no dog” rooms would have made my day. My chest was thight and I thought of leaving. The guests were very noisy and dogs barking until 1 O’cock in the morning. Very disappointed because I loved the location and breakfast but would not go back.

The staff was amazing! The guy at the front desk who checked me in was great! The lady at the front desk on check out day and the ladies who organized and stocked breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. The variety of food provided at breakfast was amazing! Where this hotel failed was cleanliness. Our room had hair everywhere! I had to take wipes around the room to clean the floor, around the kitchen, the bottles in the bathroom was filthy, they never get wiped, and blind button never gets wiped, it would have been a phenomenal stay if whomever cleans the room paid more attention to detail. The amount of hair that was on our floor was so significant we felt that they forgot to sweep between guests.

Location is fantastic! There are lots of different shops and restaurants very close by but also it is within short driving distance from different landmarks, venues, activities, etc. in the area. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We were even able to check in earlier than anticipated. Our room was comfortable and spotless. All the appliances and fixtures were in perfectly working order. All in all it was a great stay and we’d come back again. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the breakfast setup but that’s probably just my own preference. The food itself was perfectly fine. Probably my only other “complaint” would be that the elevators were an overly warm like there wasn’t A/C or ventilation. This was no issue anywhere else in the hotel. Everywhere else was very comfortable.

Rooms were spacious for us and 2 young kids. Free breakfast was very good, especially the waffles. Conveniently located around a lot of store and attractions. We liked that it was close to the Strasburg Railroad.

I was quoted a specific price, including taxes, via Expedia. When I went to the counter to check out, after a minute of the person being on her phone she asked if I wanted a paper receipt or email. I stated an email and she said “have a nice day” and went back to her phone. I checked my credit card and found I was charged $50 more than Expedia stated. I have not received an email so can’t determine who to be pissed at, Home2 or Expedia.
