Motel 6 Lancaster, PA

Passable

Location The staff was extremely disrespectful. The two girls in the morning extremely disrespectful. The cops had to be called. I did not get my deposit back for the second time in a row. Motel 6 has bedbugs. It smells like dog pee and Garbage on the first floor. My room was dirty. The door didn’t close unless you forced it closed. The staff was disrespectful, slamming doors in the middle of the night, blaming others for their loud ruckus the vending machines took my money. The refrigerated in the bedroom smelled like moldy basement. The floors were sticky. The shower got way too hot and sprayed you in the face. There was toilet paper roll on the floor behind the toilet. It was so dusty. I kept sneezing I’m telling you it was a bad place to stay.

It was okay until I didn't get my security deposit back Not getting my security deposit back!!

The staff was friendly and the rooms are very clean and I like the location

Looked much better online in ad. Halls very rundown, could hear people talking loudly talking and dogs barking in rooms. Room was very sparse but would have been ok until we saw the roaches. Next time I will just pay the extra for holiday inn express or something else in that category.

The shower heads. Shower curtain not wide enough, when showering floor kept getting wet

Location Very loud inside. We found 2 cockroaches in our room. People smoking outside all entry doors.

Busy road location. Would had prefer more off the beaten path .

Cockroachs

Room was nice. Could use new pillows. No breakfast or coffee. No coffee maker in room. Did have refrigerator and microwave. Water hot for showers. Offer guests coffee in the mornings at least even if nothing else.

Pleasant

The location of the property is NOT good. It is located where traffic is heard All Night long. If you want sleep for the night, forget about it. The walls must be thin. There is adequate parking. The staff was good. The building needs some work and could be better maintained. Stairways and elevator needs cleaning. The rooms are fairly clean but very little soap. The soap is so small you hardly can use for a bath yet well to clean your hands. The pictures on the internet are better than the actual place. The staff was courteous and efficient. No breakfast offered.

Very good

The floor in the room was dirty. There was no continental breakfast. The staff was nice but hard to understand due to her accent. The parking lot was in disrepair. They do allow dogs for free as long as you are on the first floor. Parking was easy.

Great place to stay.

Upon arrival, the room smelled like cigarettes. It was filthy dirty. The protective sheet was ripped and it looked like somebody peed on it when asking for new sheets and what not the staff said that I could not get it until 11 AM. I asked for extra towels I was not given them. I asked for extra blankets I was not giving them I was overcharged. I did not receive my security deposit back because I had gotten some hair dye on the sheet and there was chocolate spread on the sheet and they claimed that it was blood and it was not. They said there was ashes on the windowsill and when I had gotten into the hotel, I had called down and spoke to them about it smelling of cigarettes. I would not suggest this hotel to anybody.

Perfectly fine for a brief stay.

Bad

Location wasn’t bad Dirty… room was dirty, floor was wet/sticky, smelled strong like pine, I used a towel to dry floor. Towel was so dirty afterwards … I should of taken pictures
