Check in was a little unsusal with a call in number so that you can unlocked a box with the room key in it. The room was descent but the light in the ceiling fan didn't work and the floor was sticky in spots, seems like it was just swept but not mopped.

After a 4 hour drive, we arrived at the property around 5ish. I tried calling the number on my reservation as I was directed. Could NOT get in touch with anyone. Between my husband and I we left around 10 messaged and did not get a response. Waited around for almost 2 hours then we had to find another place to stay for 4 nights. I finally received a call from them at 9:00pm saying they were sorry. Very disappointed since 4 of us had to squeeze into 1 hotel room.

there was not breakfast at the Spruce, we went to Gracie's instead. The floors, counters were not swept, no one swept under the beds, the coffee machine was broken, outside walls had mold, the garden needed trimming. There ice machine was broken we were told.

It was convenient The airport right behind the cottage. The cottage is really do need updating a lot of the flower boxes just hanging halfway on and halfway off bushes were overgrown floors were very dirty.
-
The outside of the buildings had things falling off. No one there to man the office even for part of the day. We needed up canceling our reservation and found another place to stay. We lost a day rental but worth it. Its bad when staff says they wouldn't stay there either.

Not much this rime. . Our rooms, esp. #74 was dirty. Requested that the bathroom, especially the re-cleaned and it was not.. The bedsheets were gray and dingy, and we weren’t sure if they were clean. The room smelled of old urine and mold. In room 73 neither the refrigerator nor the television worked.

Cute property, nice location re Amish attractions, property could use some work but ok. Right next to small airport but not many flights so not a big problem; cool, if you like small airplanes.

Cottages were nice The landscape needs to be better

Save you’re time and hassle and pass on this property!!

Room was clean, check-in took a while to get through, but once connection was made, process was easy. Wish beds were more comfortable/solid and pillows more substantial.

Rooms need to be cleaned better. There was hair in shower, fridge, on bed sheets and pillow cases. Night stand and beds hadn't been moved to be cleaned behind, under or around. There were cobwebs in the closet. Beds are noisy when you moved around in it. Turn table in microwave was not the correct 1 and didn't turn to reheat properly. Lights on outside poles were not on so was very dark outside to get to cars. Light outside room 71 did not work. Flowerbeds need upkeep.

The location is great. Nice and quiet. Everything was satisfactory.

Didn’t have enough towels for four people

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy . There is no staff except a cleaning lady that speaks a little English . There is a phone number on the office door you have to call to check in and follow instructions. Hopefully you don't get a busy signal . While on the phone getting a code to retrieve the room keys , my wife watched the cleaning lady go through a garbage bag full of dirty laundry looking for something clean to exchange with another guest . My wife worked for a major motel chain years ago and knew exactly what the cleaner was doing . After getting our room , my wife pulled the bed spread back and the fitted sheet was covered in hair . I pulled it off and took it to the cleaning lady. She started going through the garbage bag and I told her I knew what she was doing and I wanted a clean sheet . A young girl with her said they were in the wash . She gave me 2 regular sheets which my wife used to cover the mattress . Also , the property could use some maintenance . There was a few trees that had large leads broken and there were large branches on the ground caused by a storm that went through several days earlier . Also , the couch from the 70's complete with stains from the 70's could use updated .

Terrible experience- reached out to the staff multiple times with no response.

The location was good and the rooms were large. Poorly maintained and check in process was inefficient. A hotel worker walked into our room without knocking.

The grounds are well maintained except for the lead walk up to the cottage. There is plenty of parking and it's quiet at night. The bathroom was large and very clean. The house numbers are small, old and not very visible from the parking lot. You have to walk almost up to the door to see which one you're assigned to. Once inside, there was a huge upholstered chair almost right inside the door which I was lucky I didn't trip over. The blinds inside are old and obviously never get cleaned. The furniture looks leftover from the late 60s and the beds are on wheels. We repositioned our beds several times during the night there when they traveled. There is a tiny microwave and a decent sized mini fridge. The tv was a bit small in my opinion and didn't get most channels on it.

This was our third stat at Spruce Lane ..normally everything is smooth with checkin and such, however this time we arrived well after dark and it was impossible to see the numbers on cabins due to trees and other vehicles and not having the numbers lit in any way. We arrived and checked in via the virtual desk which went okay however the room was unlocked and there was no key in the lockbox, the agent said it would be delivered in the morning which it never was. As far as the room it was clean and nice cold ac! I would recommend attaching the bedframes to the headboards as they have a tendency to roll on you ! The shower was clean but the shower head was old and didn't work very well..also the tub drained very slow.

I would not recommend this hotel. The check in prices was frustrating, especially in the pouring rain. There were dead bugs in my room as well as black mold behind the nightstand. If they just did a deep cleaning, it would have been a much nicer place. My family reserved 3 rooms for 1 night and we all had issues. Most of the lighting fixtures in my aunt's room had no bulbs and the lights in my sister's room could only be shut off by pulling the plug out.
