Spruce Lane Lodge and Cottages

Downside was the building is older and it could use some updates to the showers and cleanliness of the rooms. Needs cleaned better and we found lots of mold and mildew and dead bugs around. Also two tvs out of three did not work properly. Good stay for large groups that want a good rate

The “contactless check-in” does not benefit the customer in any way. It was the noisiest, most uncomfortable bed I’ve yet to experience and at 160/night to boot. Minimal towels, pillows that feel like bags of oats, and beds that roll away from the wall if you sit up in bed and lean back. No housekeeping on multiple night stay.

Desk Attendant not very helpful. Could not find key to cottage. Cleaning lady very nice and found key. She went above and beyond to help us. Window treatments (blinds) need updated. Most do not work. Outside of buildings and grounds are not being kept up. Used to be very neat and clean.

The location was perfect for the activities I had planned while visiting Pennsylvania. The room was not cleaned, and there was a bad case of ants on the table when we arrived. The bedding was all stained. The tv didnt work. That was a little challenging because we was traveling with a 7 year old.We didn't see staff until we was checking out. We didn't have enough towels and wash cloths.

Everything was nice and groomed the ground the cabin was clean spotless roomie made you feel very comfortable I have nothing bad to say about it. It was really really beautiful place to stay.

The room is extremely dirty, with dead bugs. Everywhere comma the floor look like it hadn't been swept in 3-5 visitors. The coffee pot and the microwave were absolutely disgusting. The room has real potential, but with a lack of housekeeping that's actually done is kind of scary

We actually loved the accommodations. The cottages were so cute, and set well back from the road so you never heard the traffic. Now, there was a small airport behind the complex, and there was a good bit of landing/taking off during the day-- possibly due to the advertised flying lessons--, but no air traffic at night. The floors could have been cleaner, I'm not going to lie, but I'm not in the habit of going barefoot inside rental properties anyway. Also, I had occasion to see the woman cleaning the rooms, and she was not young or particularly mobile, so I am giving her some grace on that one. The remote check in went off without a hitch. The little front porch was a nice place to unwind. Overall, a positive experience, and I would go there again. I took some of my own towels from home when I saw folks complaining about not having enough, and I had no issue making my own bed every day. We were in cottage #71

Eazy check-in and checkout. Very clean and excellent location. All was good. No complaints.

The beds were very comfortable. The location was great. The TV downstairs didn’t work. There were two bathrooms but only one had a working shower. The air conditioner filters were so dirty we had to take them out and clean them ourselves.

When I booked online is specifically said that it had carpeted floors and I was told that it did I stayed there previously and it had hardwood floors the bed had wheels on it whenever I would get into bed to bed would move because of the wheels. So the second time when I booked it has stated that one of the rooms had carpeted floors and I was told that it had carpeted floors when I get there the first room I was given the code did not work so I was given a different room which had hardwood floors which I did not want then when I looked in the window of the one they tried to give me it too had hardwood floors neither of which I asked for try to cancel was not able to and I was not refunded my money so I had to go to a hotel I was not happy because I was not giving the refund and had to pay extra money for a hotel I will not be staying there again.

They advertise accessible rooms with raised toilets. They DO NOT have raised toilets. My 81yo mother had a terrible time going to the bathroom. We had trouble the 1st night with our air conditioning that made a terrible noise all night. We changed rooms the next day which was very inconvenient.

This is our second stay here. We like the location. Even though its next to an airport, that never has bothered us. Remote check in is easy and staff is friendly. The property on the outside is severely run down and not maintained. There were very tall weeds in front of our unit which was not very welcoming. The unit next to us which I'm assuming was house keeping, there was junk outside all around the door. Coolers, shoes, trash, drinks and cleaning supplies. Our room was ok but far from clean. The mirror was dirty, the toilet had stains in it, there was dust and bugs all around the edge of the walls and the floors left your feet black. The beds were not that comfortable. They appeared clean but made me wonder with the condition of the room. The rooms are updated and newly remodeled. There was plenty of bath linens and very basic amenities. We gave this place a second chance but the cleanliness is an issue with me. Being a solo professional cleaner myself, this place needs to do better. If you don't mind less than perfect, the location and price are reasonable.

There was no water coming out of shower head and there is no property staff. Bugs on the floor dirty couch.

The cottages are in slight cosmetic disrepair. The bathroom door was misaligned and wouldn’t close without lifting it. The bed was an old spring mattress with pills on the surface and was not the greatest sleep each night.

The property itself was very rundown and overgrown. The flower beds had weeds that were taller than us! The room itself was very clean and spacious except for ants on the windowsill. Manager offered to change our room but we declined. The closet was very low, so my dresses were sitting on the floor. Bathroom was updated but only small size shampoo and conditioners offered. There was a fridge and microwave and single cup coffee maker that we did not use. Also we booked a king room was one was unavailable when we arrived so they gave us a two queen room which was fine for us.

It was ok for the money GPS takes to wrong place. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpful Mattress was hard as a rock, there was no coffee pot in the room to go with the coffee maker. had to unplug the lights to get them to go off. No ice maker on premises. floor was dirty. The lock box to get our key was broken had to wait for cleaning lady to find one. Over head light would not come on.

The cottage is spacious! Everything seems well maintained. Everything is clean. It feels more homelike. The ceiling is cathedral which makes it feel much bigger! No carpet which I think is a big plus! Plenty of parking! It is a great place ! This was our second time staying there and we were very pleased with it! Will absolutely stay there in the future! Honestly? Nothing to complain about!

There is no ice machine in the refrigerator did not have a freezer which we needed for some of our purchases

The location and ease of check in. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable. There was long black hairs on the bed sheets as I folded the comforter open/down. It would be nice to have a few extra blankets to sleep with (we NEVER use the bed comforter, as it rarely gets washed.)
