The rooms were nasty the bathroom was not clean it smelled like weed

I travel all the time and this red roof inn is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never stay there again

Room had roaches they was nasty it smelled like pee it’s disgusting

The hotel room was run down. It had roaches. Nothing was up to date. If that hotel was built in the 70's it still has all its original furniture in 2026. The AC unit came with the build and hasn't been replaced since. You had to put it on 16 in order for it to run "16" on an AC unit should be freezing. The newest thing in there was the towels. Those look freshly bought from the Walmart value packs. Thin and full of factory lint. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless you necessarily need a place to stay and there's nothing else. Unfortunately, we had a devastating storm in Indiana and all the hotels in the area were sold out and this happened to be available on Expedia website, but the amount paid for this hotel was definitely not worth it. Pictures were definitely old.

DONT STAY THERE ITS HELL !!!!

Trash pilled up in the corridors. Room smelled moldy. Floors where so stratched up you couldn't tell if they were clean or not. Advertising a continental breakfast and did not serve anything not even coffee. Overall one of the worst motels I've ever stayed in...

Worst hotel experience ever. I was needing budget friendly as my flight got cancelled last minute and the online pictures are completely deceiving. Room was disgusting. One pillow. Bugs, dirty walls. Bathroom looks like there was dried urine on the ceiling. Broken pictures on the wall. No tv remote. One tiny bottle of shampoo. Toilet wouldn’t flush and had someone else’s body fluids still in it. Called front desk for assistance and the guy hung up on me mid sentence. Very rude staff. I did not feel safe here at all. It’s very eerie. And I feel like I’m going to get lice or bed bugs. Entire room smelt like cigarettes. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone and definitely not if you’re alone or you have kids. It is on the cheaper side for a reason and is not worth it. In my option it’s still to expensive for what you get. -10/10.

They don't clean the rooms; we found it very dirty and found animals under the bed.

Do not stay in this hotel. My 15 minutes of being at this hotel was the worse. Upon arrival to Red Roof Lansing there’s people hanging outside the hotel drinking being loud and playing music. I proceeded to lobby to check in anyway to give them a little bit of doubt. Upon arriving to my room the windows was busted out so I immediately went to let the attendant know he says he can refund me $25. Long story short the room had drugs on the night stand the tub was filthy the toilet was dirty the beds had stains and the floors had trash and roaches!!! PLEASE DON’T STAY!

The room had roaches and the tv did not work no office phone and the rooms was not worth their price.

Didn't actually stay there, bugs, stains, cigarette burns on bedding etc.. Not clean or hygienic went to different hotel.

Nothing people hanging out outside rooms nasty

The room had huge roaches I was able to change rooms the 2nd night but all and all the rooms are filthy garbage was stacked at least 4 ft going up the stairs garbage all around the grounds.

The picture on the website is totally false! The room was horrible, Upon entering, the door entrance has fresh paint with no sign letting know of caution to enter, the lights over the bed did not work, the microwave did not work, fire alarm was disconnected, wires were hanging out the socket, and there were cigarette burn holes in the blanket. I immediately requested another room, the second room was an improvement, I was not comfortable to stay there, so I checked out the same day. The staff didn't even to bother to ask me what was wrong.
