Clarion Hotel & Conference Center Lansing West

Everything was good except you have to have a deposit down at time of paying for the room. And on top of that I did not receive my deposit back which you are told that the full deposit comes back to you if there's no bumps in the road, which there wasn't with me.

Also, I wasn't aware of the deposit required to check in, so be ready. Just make sure to abide by the rules and they give it back, no problem. I'll be back again when I'm in the area.

This property is fine for a short stay. Our room was clean and appropriately appointed. They had replaced the carpet with laminate flooring which I preferred over carpet. There is a large swimming pool which is great especially with kids. There is also a hot tub which was not working at the time of our visit. The breakfast was ok. Overall it is a dated hotel but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. Front desk staff were nice.

The room was very nasty had to get a maintenance guy to come clean the room on top of being charged a $100 deposit they have no WiFi wat so ever the breakfast is horrible no fruit or nothing will never go there again they need to be shut down sheets are nasty mattress pad was nasty had to take it to the office she didn’t want to look at it nor give credit

This property is on the process of remodeling for the last 5+ years. courtyards are in disarray and no longer maintained besides mowing. I was turned off even more when I called the front desk requesting a bath mat & toilet paper and was told I had to pick them up from the front desk. There was now house keeping that I saw. Would I stay there again? Only as a last resort.

Room was the best clean and very well as it show on site exactly even more better what show also staff was very polite and very respectful and got us check in very fast I will give them 10 stars

It’s not a great hotel but it was adequate and it was at a great price.

This particular Clarion was once an old and crumbling Ramada Inn; upgrades and repairs are being made but you can still it's a very old hotel and some of the concrete sidewalks are not 100% safe for seniors. It's clearly a work in progress. Having said that, our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was about what you'd expect from a hotel. But all things considered, we would stay there again. The price was right.

Property is very run down. Pictures do not depict this at all. Carpets very stained. Door key didn’t work half the time and when told staff they didn’t work was told to just keep trying. Basically had to break the door to get in.

The pool was cloudy, tyou couldn't even see the stairs to step into the pool.The ac in our room smelled like mold when it ran. The continental breakfast was not a thing even though the ementities said it was there and we even got the tickets for it upon ariving. We were not told where our room was, or wifi password if there was one. The odors in the hallway were horrible. And our room key only worked when it wanted to. It really did not make for a nice stay.

First room we were given was dirty, had bugs, and pubic hair on the nightstand. Second room was a little cleaner, still had fruit flies in the bathroom. Not a great anniversary gift for my wife. Night was ruined and we will NEVER be using this place again...

Bathroom-very small, you had to stand beside the toilet to close the door. Towels all over, not neat. Hot tub-What hot tub? Closed!!!!!!!!!!!!! person in little building beside pool never helped! Not informed at desk when registering!! Pool-was a distance from the room. seniors were put at rear of building!! Breakfast-no one to help in area except person gathering tickets. No hot water!! Asked for my bill when leaving and he refused! Finally gave me my bill which read $62 USD. Received my credit card info and was charged $117.33 CDN This is almost double!@ Exchange should be around 1.35 The place looks really rundown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would like to be reimbursed in some way for what we experienced at CLARON!!!! Not a good experience!

Everything was wonderful and I enjoyed my stay.
