Room was absolutely beautiful, my man loved the Room I chose for us to stay in! Staff were very helpful. We had a slight hard time finding our room.
-
5 stars for services expedia check in and check out. Big waves pool , free wifi unlimited device
-
Like lazy river & water park my kids had a blast, the thing is it was pack it took us 30 minutes to get to the room, from the elevators
-
So I called and got the most sweetest person on the phone. She took care of everything. If not for her I would have given the hotel a 1 star. The breakfast place there was really great.
-
Prices were outrageous
-
Family friendly hotel. Hotel has wave pool and lazy river which my kids enjoyed. Also there a monorail free of charge that takes you from hotel to Excalibur or Luxor.
-
Checking in took a very long time. We tried to do the self-check-in, and that wasn't working.
-
Not everything in the room was up to par, but the day was overall good. Nice cabanas at the pool.
-
Really nice accommodations - great staff, would highly recommend.

The first kiosk line forces you to input your ID and credit card but it does NOT give you a room key or even tell you your room number. Instead, you are placed on a digital waitlist. We were left stranded in a packed lobby alongside dozens of other exhausted families for over an hour with a tired toddler before an automated text finally said our room was ready. You then have to join a completely second line at a different set of kiosks just to physically encode and print your room cards. The machine programmatically assigned us a suite at the adjacent W Hotel tower (formerly Delano) instead of the primary Mandalay Bay resort we booked. There was zero warning of this tower switch on the screen. We loaded our stroller and bags into the Mandalay Bay elevators, where our keys repeatedly failed. After tracking down staff, we were told our room was in an entirely separate building. Forcing families through multiple lines, missing the 3 PM room readiness window, and secretly switching guests to a separate tower is unacceptable. This system is completely broken.

They overbooked the resort so badly! There were lines in front of the elevators. The elevators were so packed it was almost impossible to go downstairs. My husband and I had to either walk down the stairs or ride up just to go back down. The pool area was extremely overcrowded and to rent a cabana or chair, the price was ridiculous! The cost to buy 2 bottles of water exceeded $15. The restaurants were overpriced and the food was subpar. We are ate at a restaurant for breakfast and they served us frozen pancakes that were rubbery and dry. When paying $200+ for every meal the food should reflect the price. The hotel is really big and clean yet most of the employees don’t speak English so they can’t communicate well with the guests.

The overall hotel was awesome. The Adult only Moorea pool was excellent, excellent pools and service just didn’t expect it to be topless optional which was ok by us just unexpected. Rent the lounge chairs for 50$ a person, it’s worth it. The main pain point was check in. We checked in early on kiosk and never received text that room was ready. Returned around 8p at night, the line was LONG, many people in the same boat, waiting for their rooms. We received no info on the property, good credit, etc. we wanted late check out… called several times with no success in connecting with someone. Returned to front desk… waited in line with many others for 25 min. No movement in line so we gave up. I don’t think we’ll stay here again because of the lack of available customer service.

Enjoyed the clean room. The amenities and access to dinning, shopping and other neighboring casinos was convenient.
-
The staff explained that we would still have access to all of Mandalay Bay’s amenities, which was the main reason we chose to stay there. Once we got to our room, though, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful, very clean, and we loved how conveniently located everything was. In the end, we had a great experience, and I would definitely book this hotel again.

Nothing is free. Literally nothing. Coffee that is complimentary in even the cheapest hotels across the nation will cost you more than a trip to one of the Starbucks locations in the hotel. And for the love of all that’s good - DO NOT use the refrigerator in your room or you are charged $50 a day. I left a tiny half piece of pizza in there over night and forgot about it. $150 later - I saw the notice - it’s barely visible and you have to be 3 feet tall and see worn out lettering on the tray above it. But, fair’s fair, I guess. And then there’s housekeeping. Or lack of. If you sleep past 9:00am and leave the DND hanger on so they don’t come in knocking at 8:00AM? You won’t get service. And then there’s the concierge- don’t have anything to do. It will take you 43 minutes and 56 seconds to connect via phone. Not that I was counting- my phone was… and it took me two times to get through because the hotel phone disconnected me from the line the first time. There’s a little liquor store within walking distance across the street- go there. Pack k-cups of your own, and buy a super cute mug from one of the gift shops. You’ll be thankful.

We had strip view for Fourth of July and we’re on the 59th floor and there couldn’t have been a better view

I had a good stay. The staff were excellent and very helpful. All of the staff: housekeeping, maintenance, spa, registration ambassadors… Let’s be honest, wherever we stay is made possible by the tireless staff.
-
Good property. They need more space for the pool area, better fast food restaurants. The lines are to long to try and sit. I walked to The Luxor and the Excalibur to avoid lines and high prices. There are no breakfast spots or fast food locations at The Mandalay Bay.
-
It should have been stated clearly that we were not staying at Mandalay Bay. If I select a hotel those rooms should be the ones that are available, not a different hotel. I was very disappointed and upset.

We had a wonderful stay! This is a great place for families visiting Las Vegas. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was convenient, and Tram train made it easy to get to the Strip and nearby attractions. The lazy river and wave pool made our stay exceptional, they were a huge hit with the kids. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families.
