Friendly staff, pool and pool area was nice
-
We didn’t use the pool and some of the amenities were under remodeling but our room was fine and breakfast was fair. Breakfast was 6-9a but when we came to breakfast after 7 but before 8 things had not always been refreshed and replenished.

The Baymont in Laurel MS had renovations ongoing during our stay. When we arrived, there was little to no hot water. The staff said the hot water heater was going to be replaced. We arrived on a Thursday, the hot water issue wasn't resolved until the following Tuesday. It was an inconvenience but bearable. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean.

Run down , no hot water. Cooking without hot water. In which is unsanitary .Bed bugs. No iron lights out in the hallway.
-
I got there and I didn’t have a reservation. They had no rooms. I stayed next door at Days .Comfort had one room. It was horrible. Staff was nice.
-
They Advertise Dog friendly and they are not. Smoke detectors were taped over and no hot water..
-
The room was clean, but NO hot water, cold showers are not fun in my book. To top it off there was no toilet paper in the room, not a fun surprise when you need it! Parking lot is full of potholes as well.
-
But on a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioner blew cold air.

Upon check in we were greeted by the most rude man, he was clearly upset we interrupted the movie he was watching on his phone. We got to our room and after 30 minutes of trying to adjust to the stench we checked out and went to Hampton Inn close by. I wouldn't let my dogs stay here.

We had a room by the housekeeping room so it was loud. The air conditioner was loud The couch needed cleaning. The phone did not work. The bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to where we were going. They were under construction so maybe that will take care of of some of the issues. The front awning had been knocked down by a big truck so you could not find the front entrance as it was not clearly identified. We would stay again if in the area again. Good stay.

Unfortunately, the hot water wasn’t working. They told us upon check in. However, the pool was excellent. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

We had no hot water. No ac on the 2nd floor
-
However, the staff was so helpful and kind it is hard to be upset about it. In the future letting guests know that there is construction happening during their stay would be helpful. Thanks to the staff for a true southern hospitality experience!
-
Absolutely the worst place! No hot water not fridge no hair dryer I literally would have left but had to be at a wedding just after checking in. This place is disgusting!!!!

The checkin staff were very friendly. The room was super nice. There wasn’t any hot water but because of the reason for our being in this town didn’t allow me time to alert the staff. The breakfast was good. The morning of check out somehow our key cards deactivated four hours prior to checkout and had to get that fixed because all our stuff was in the room. One of the nicer more updated Wyndham facilities.

Hotel has some construction going on that we were unaware of. The hot water in the shower would not get hot and the pool was not open. The outside needs updating and it was not easy to find- the road to/from was really rough and hard to see in the dark. The room was nice but sheets on the bed were not soft and comfortable.

The worst staff experience EVER. Booked room online through hotels.com at 11pm. Arrived at 1130pm front door locked No one manning the desk. Sign posted stating clerk on duty 24 hours. Called a number that was posted I let the number ring for 40 minutes while also ringing the doorbell (40minutes)I had my 9lb chihuahua with me(when booking I made sure the hotel was pet friendly) an hour later a male finally answered the phone. I stated I’m trying to check in. The voice mumbled something then Stated ok and hung up. I assumed they were on the property (not so). After 15 minutes I called again stating I’m trying to check in. The male voice replied I’m coming I promise you and mumbled something else (I tried to cancel during the long wait before the first phone call was answered it was unable to because it was after 12 midnight therefore considered after the check in date) so Ivy paid and I’m stuck waiting. A vehicle drove up and 15 minutes later a tall white male with horrendous body cracked the door opened and asked may I help you. Okay. I replied I’m trying to check in. He says we do not take pets. On my freaking Jesus. Yeah okay I specifically filtered hotels that are pet friendly. He says new owners they’ve renovated and it’s on our website. When I repeated and showed him where it said pets okay he responded that’s third party. Give me my refund. At least i think I’m receiving a refund. I wouldn’t be as upset if it wasn’t for the fact that I wasted 2hrs waiting

They canceled my reservation before I arrived and didn't even contact me before hand!

The “newly renovated room” smelled like a musty house that had been abandoned for a decade. The microwave was a rusty tetanus habitat. The hot and cold were swapped in the shower. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. The pool was green chocked with algae. Their website said pet friendly with a $25 fee. The manager said the policy had been changed but the website wouldn’t be updated for a while so we could stay but only if we paid an additional $50 per night and moved to an old room upstairs. With no elevator. Horrific service. Awful facility. Mean-asshat manager. Go anywhere else.

Wyndhams are all ran down across the nation. This was just another reminder why avoid them.
