Holiday Inn Express & Suites Laurel by IHG

The hotel itself could use some updating. The interior looked and felt dated, and the pillows went completely flat as soon as you tried to use them. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. Several of the items looked dry and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, so there is definitely room for improvement there. Despite those issues, the comfortable room and great staff made the stay enjoyable. With some updates to the property, better pillows, and a fresher breakfast, this could be a really nice place to stay.

Property. The bed was falling off the frame, no sheets for the pull out sofa, and the staff was pretty useless. Stayed at lots of Holiday Inns and felt we would have a good experience, will Likely never stay at another to avoid this experience happening again…

There was an odor in the room. Had to buy air fresheners. I believe the odor was coming from the carpet.

Check in time could be a little earlier

The door to the room had a gap at the top letting in all of the sound. Unfortunately, it is the one closest to the breakfast area, so it was loud. Also, I am not confident that the shower had been cleaned in awhile.

Older gentleman was extremely helpful at check in. Room was not clean and he generously gave us another.

Breakfast was good and staff was very accommodating There was outdoor sitting area , pool was area was dark and dingy. The shower floor was grimey. I took a shower in my flip flops

The staff went above and beyond. They were always extremely friendly and helpful

Staff went above and beyond to make my daughter and I comfortable. They were helpful and friendly at any time of the day!

The room was not great, but ok. Quiet during the night and slept well. Walked into the bathroom during the night and stepped in water, then felt a drip on my head. The ceiling already had water spots on it when we arrived (it seemed like old stains from a previous leak) and the paint had bubbles behind it filled with water. Didn't realize that it was still a current leak. That kind of sucked. Not the best Holiday Inn that I have stayed in, but it had the best rating for the area.

Cleanliness was great Dryer didn’t work but I was able use the iron to dry my shirt. Bathroom sink had a slow drain

Very helpful staff and our room was excellent. However, the bed was uncomfortable even with the egg crate mattress pad we carry with us!
