Hollywood Casino & Hotel

I liked the location close to the Double tree event space. Very nice hotel. I didn't like that there are smoking rooms. And smoking areas of the hotel. Maybe vending machines as well close to the soda machines.

Property was great with clean rooms.

It was reasonably priced. And convenient for my purposes. The room smelled like old smoke. There is not enough convenient parking.

It's a fun place to go and get away.

Staff was great, room was great. Only problem no one informed us about the train tracks outside r room. It would have been nice otherwise other side of the hotel. Plenty of slots to play and the food court was good also.

Nice to stay here and convenient

The ease in getting from hotel and casino. The amenities were very limited. No Coffee water or snacks in lobby. Front desk did give us some tea bags for the night. None offered in rooms.

The walk from the hotel to the casino. On the walkway if there was something like an escalators but just walking. The $15 for checking in less than an hour before is ridiculous. The room was ready.

Extremely screwed up and over. The dates I booked were wrong and the staff was not helpful at all. An extra $15 to check in 1 hour earlier. Extra charge for the room to be cleaned. Over charged for 1 day extra and forfeiture of deposit. I will not be using them or Expedia again!!!!!

Bathrooms could be cleaner and the water did not get hot.

Facility lacks handicap parking. Night hotel host on Friday 9/25 was in a t shirt with holes and sweatpants. Not sure if this is the proper attire. He was also outside at 2:00 am smoking which I’m sure wasn’t a regular cigarette. Going to go with a different choice next time when visiting Lawerenceburg.

Loved it Nothing

It was alright I asked for a late check out. I was told it would be $25 but I was charged $50. Hopefully this gets fixed.

Great trip we go every year. Overtime I have noticed the carpet in the rooms is stained and should be replaced. Always a fun time!

Superb

Cons: The hotel is directly next to railroad tracks and the train horns woke us up a couple of times in our one night there. The property also required A LOT of walking. It was a trek to our room and an even longer trek to the casino. Food options were not great, a fancy restaurant and a cafeteria-style restaurant that was pretty empty (not sure it was even open).

DO NOT STAY HERE. This is one of the worst places we have ever stayed. First we entered and the reception area smelled like an ashtray. Our room was nasty. Dirty and old like a cheap hotel. Check in staff was rude. There are other hotels in the area and I am sure any one would be better than this place. You pay for premium accommodation and get a low tier place to stay. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
