Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City/Layton

Amenities would have been a 5 start but the pool area was under construction. The staff was awesome and very helpful about questions of the surrounding businesses and restaurants.

We asked to change our room due to ac not working and bugs in the room. One of the side tables looked like it was also falling off the wall. We got a second room and there was molding the shower.

Great stay will stay here again in the furture.

The staff was super helpful. I got a little stomach ache and needed an incidental. The staff stopped what they were doing in order to help me find some antacid. Our breakfasts were delicious. The room was comfy! The beds were more “stiff”. My hubby enjoys a stiff bed, I prefer a soft bed but I was still able to get 2 good nights of sleep.

There was empty water bottles, pop bottles and a women’s perfume bottle under the beds. It stormed the second night and the water leaked from the top of the widow all night, we had layer three towels under the window to keep the water from going everywhere.

Good. Stayed in Rm 215. There wS a wet spot on the floor at the front of the desk area.

Hotel is close to Lagoon. However the view from the room we were given (207) was of a gigantic air conditioner unit. Literally right outside the window. The tub in the room did not drain when showering. Disappointing as we paid more than we really wanted to hoping that a Hilton would be a better experience.

Amazing staff

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable after a long day of driving. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and check in was quick and easy. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The location is great, right off the freeway with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, making it a perfect overnight stop. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.

The beds are very hard and the bathrooms very small

Felt like there were hidden fees and misleading info. When I booked there was a breakfast available highlight mentioned, but then I found out I had to pay an additional charge for breakfast. There was also an additional $50 fee when I checked in. I drank a water and left the 3$ inside the ring of the paper explaining the cost to pay, but was then charged an additional 3$ to my card after I left. Overall the combination of these 3 things made the stay feel like o was being tricked and not valued as a customer.

Stay was great. We did have some young kids knock on our door at midnight and run. That was really the only complaint. We still plan to stay again for our next several planned trips.
