The beds were so bad that we could stay the second night. Everything about everything else was good. Just could not sleep another night there!

It is mostly what I did not like. The elevator was out of order for part of the stay, the breakfast was a joke because they had no juice machine, the food tasted like it was old, the ice machine did not work, they usually have cookies during the evening but not this stay, I don't think much effort was done cleaning our room.

We loved the delicious breakfast and the pool hours. The room and facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. Our A/C unit stopped working from 8:00pm until ~10am the next day. It was incredibly hot in the room! I was instructed around 9:00pm that it was overloaded and that it would turn on soon. By 2:00am my kiddo and I were awake and overheated. They gave us a fan for the room and offered to switch but I still had other kids asleep. It would’ve been a perfect stay if not for the uncomfortable room temperature for most of the night. They offered to comp my stay had I not booked through booking.com.

Normally the Holiday Inn Express line of hotels is reliably clean and well maintained. This particular location seems to be the exception. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, the elevator was out of order for part of our stay, and the juice dispenser in the breakfast area was out of order as well. The lobby had muddy footprints and dirt from outside and the elevator floor hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Our room had a weird odor in the living room and when we pulled out the hideaway bed there was food and a sleep eye mask in it. The floor in the bathroom under the counter was dirty and there was food crumbs under the nightstand area. We were disappointed because these hotels are typically very well maintained, this one was just subpar comparatively.
