In the corners of the bathroom as well as the behind the door to entrance of the room were dead bugs and hair. The bottom of the toilet had hair stuck too it. I had the do not disturb sign on the door and housekeeping still knocked on my door to ask when I was leaving, very unprofessional considering I had the sign and check out is 11. Breakfast should be advertised as a CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST I would have chosen a different hotel had I known there wasn’t a hot option besides waffles. Also the listing on hotels.com shows it’s 7ish miles from the University of Utah Hospital, it’s a 40 minute drive much more that 7ish miles. Inconvenient for the situation I needed the stay for.

Great bed, great location, and comfy stay. We always slept in so I never got to try the breakfast. I would stay here again.

The front desk lady was very kind, but the hotel was terrible. We had bugs in our bed and sink, they gave us an occupied room
-
Front desk was very helpful, polite while checking in/out. No issues at all. Clean throughout the rooms and hotel as well as the outside was nicely maintained.
-
bugs in every room ,won’t do anything to people who door bell ditch in the hotel and never help fix the problem
-
pools and spa were down during our stay
-
Pool was out of order and the building was being painted. All in all, not the time away we were seeking or deserved.
-
breakfast was fresh & good the pool & hot tub were not working, which was a bummer

The hotel's pool and hot tub were undergoing maintenance so we had to walk to the Fairfield next door to use theirs. our room that was originally on the first floor was not available when we checked in at 5pm because it "wasn't ready" so we got a room on the second floor and the people above us were loud and you could hear them stomping around all night. Aside from that, continental breakfast was good and it was close to restaurants and Lagoon. Front desk lady was super nice and went out of her way to find extra pillows for me and my family.

Room was a bit shabby and floor was not clean. The sink drained very slowly and the toilet barely flushed.

Great room and great stay.
-
Good location, fair value It could have been a little cleaner
-
Free breakfast was a bowl of cereal or a waffle. Nothing else and the milk was empty. Seriously!?? Ugh
-
the pool was out of service, we still got to walk to the nearby one and go swimming so it wasn’t a real big miss out

The pool was out of service. We were able to swim at the hotel across the street so that made up for the pool being down. Over all everything was good.

The staff helped out after we told them that the ac wasn't working properly, but they waited til the next day to fix it. The property looked ran down and they didn't have the hot tub working nor did it look like it was going to be fixed anytime soon. The room was ok you can tell there had been alot of damage to the walls and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned very well. Can say that it's not a place I will be staying at again anytime soon.

It was clean but smell like dirty feet as you walking to the room, tub didn’t drain the water, toilet had square soap that I had to teke it out myself… lastly the tv didn’t work at all trying to watch something but i couldn’t.

I had a pet friendly room. When I walked my dog early in the morning and came back to the room he had ants all over his legs and feet. We checked the room and there were ants on tge floor. I retraced my steps and at the outside entrance to our hall the doir jam was black with ants. The sidewalk was also covered. We had stood in the ants while I used my key card to open the entry door. It was 5 am so I did not see them! My poor dog! I told the office and showed her all the ants. She said she would refund our room rate but as of today has not.

We used the same towels for three days. Staff never entered our room. The breakfast was the same for three days in a row. The hot tub was out of order pet friendly meant that people were feeding their dogs from their breakfast plates. I have loved Laquita for years first time I have ever been sadly disappointed.
