Elwood Hotel & Suites

The staff was wonderful to us and our dog Lily. There are many places to bring your dog for a walk and they even had dog bags. We will be returning there every time we go to Kentucky to visit our son in college.

Great place. Clean, close to campus with southern personality. We would stay again for sure!

There's nothing not to like

Beautiful boutique hotel. Nice bar. I felt safe and access to rooms was by key only through several doors which keeps out riffraff.. staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They serve an amazing breakfast. Plenty of parking and access to local attractions. Highly recommend.

And the food! We were only there for one night, wish it had been more, but both our dinner and brunch meals were absolutely delicious. The servers at both meals were excellent, and very cheerful and friendly. Actually, everyone on staff that we encountered there seemed to enjoy their job and interacting with the guests. Our corner room was quite large, clean, nicely furnished, and quiet. The Elwood has a very high satisfaction rating, which is well-deserved, and is very reasonably priced for such a lovely experience. I hope to be back in Lexington soon to stay there again. Even if you don't need a place to stay, I highly recommend enjoying a meal there!

Love this place!

I booked this hotel for my parents and they both had nothing but wonderful things to say about their brief stay! They said they would definitely stay again!

Clean well appointed room, staff was awesome, friendly and very courteous, and the breakfast was delicious.

Clean large room with plenty of space for work and planning. Easy to access with friendly staff.

Breakfast was wonderful! One little bitty quibble- dinner the dish I had was a pasta dish with shrimp added. The shrimp were too heavily seasoned, I could not finish eating. For breakfast I had poached eggs with spinach. Again the spinach was too heavy on the salt. Could not eat the spinach. Guess I am just too sensitive with seasoning. Nothing

We love staying at the Elwood when we visit our daughter at UK. It is clean, the staff is wonderful and helpful. The rooms are homey and have lots of space. The bed is always comfortable. This will always be my first choice.

Unique, clean, felt safe

Needing to get money back for this stay, I brought up concerns to the front desk and received no help. Unfortunately did not get a name or pictures but I had to move rooms 3 times just to get to a room that I could stand to sleep in. I was offered no assistance moving my things from room to room. The first room smelled horribly or mildew, the second room had mold in the ac unit, the third still did not meet “exceptional” standards as listed with the room. I’m planning to get my money back.
