Comfort Inn Lexington Virginia Horse Center

I got there at 3pm. I waited 20 minutes to check in. No staff. I ask the cleaning lady to help. I left and came back later to check in. Breakfast/ the sausage was not cooked. I had a lot of coffee grinds in my coffee cup. The lobby was drenched with water. It was more than just wet. I have stayed there 4 years in a row. Not anymore. The place has gone down hill.

When I arrived it looked like the facility was abandoned due to the front of the building collapse. It did take staff a while to attend to needs during check in and when anything was needed. My room did smell of cigarettes when I arrived but the smell seemed to go away. The show tub faucet would leak aggressively when the shower was on. At night there was yelling happening in the parking lot, but eventually stopped when either staff or the police escorted the person. Everything else was good as far as cleanliness.

THere was a very large dehumidifier and ozone box ("not for indoor use") in my room when I arrived. Had to ask that the machines get moved.

AC had some issues - noisy and freezing up

Very clean and great staff. The young man that checked us in was very informative about the area Quiet and comfortable. Great shower and comfy bed. It had everything in the room that was needed. The breakfast area was a little cluttered. It could use a little more variety of foods They need another garbage can, where the one is located was a very busy area with people getting beverages.

TV remote didn’t work. Not clean behind the closet bathroom door.

Inside the Hotel was nice and clean and looked up-to-date. Room was clean and organized. Front entrance under construction for collapsing roof damage. Taped off. Had to use side door, but poor directions to where that exactly was. Poor signage to get into the hotel area from main road. Need sign for hotel at the entrance to 62 Comfort way with directional arrows to help lead you back to the hotel. GPS led me to dead-end road with shed. Had to turn around with a truck trailer. Not fun.

Just what I was looking for at the time

Repeat customer, always a good stay. There is some construction needed in the lobby area (it was taped off). I am very happy with this location and will be back. We like to go to the starbucks, chic fil a, and devil's backbone so it is a great location for us!

Staff was friendly. Old building. The ceiling the room was pretty gross (stains). The mattress are old and not very comfortable. There were stains on one of the blankets . The AC was right next to one of the beds so one bed was freezing and the other one was hot.

Will stay here again.

There was no body lotion in our room. Refrigerator was not cold and my cold packs did not freeze overnight. The bed was terrible. Slept poorly. We will never stay here again. Breakfast was awful. Eggs were terrible and the selection was minimal.

Super clean! Super Quiet! Super nice staff!

Comfortable and quiet.

Close to locations we had to travel next day, close to highway, close to down town Room not so clean, tears on wall paper, disgusting Silicone job around tub, rusted door hinges, very loud AC, not working tv remote - nobody to reach at the desk for about 15min, stuff - not so enthusiastic about guests. Just very average whatsoever. Been to worse been to way better even for the $$$

Locks were hard to use on the door, key card work sometimes

This was a last-minute reservation made through Booking.com. We were trying to get ahead of the approaching storms and head for home. This location was right off the highway and easy to find. Nick Patel is the young man who checked us in, and he was so friendly and polite. Nick made us feel welcome and offered any assistance we needed. This location was very clean, including their pool, and they offer a nice breakfast each morning. I would definitely recommend this Comfort Inn in Lexington to any who are traveling in this direction.
