Best Western Plus Inn at Hunt Ridge

Pet hair everywhere. Closed up pipes and caused a toilet overflow from 3rd floor down.a mess

I like to play quiet and nice.

Bed was exceptional! So comfortable! Front desk staff, housekeeping and breakfast staff all very friendly and professional.

Breakfast was good. Price was right. Room was musty and smaller of mildew.

A smile. Been going to this hotel since 2016 or earlier. My room is always clean. It just needs one major updating, especially the tub ? and beds. Been coming to this hotel since 2016 it was pretty new. Right now the hotel needs a major update renovation specially in the bathroom area.

Very easy to get to. Rooms were clean. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Over priced for what you are getting. Rooms were outdated and wallpaper was coming off walls. Toilets made loud screeching sounds. Poor shower water pressure

Tubs ? are stained. Bed needs to be retired soon. Air filter needs change coz it emits stale air.

We booked this overnight stay during a long trip from SC to NY and due to my past good experiences with Best Western and its “Excellent” rating on Expedia, I thought it’d be the perfect fit. Upon arrival the staff was very nice, hotel lobby was impressive and then we got to the room. Upon opening the door, the damp feeling and musty smell was hard to ignore. Non-refundable we sucked it up. First thing, we used the bathroom and upon first flush, toilet overflowed from the bottom and top. My husband had to turn the valve off to stop it. And yes, it was just a pee 😉. They graciously gave us a new room but the second room was more musty than the first. And my husband who usually has no complaints and is a pretty rugged guy, couldn’t fall asleep bec of the smell and the damp feeling sheets. Clean albeit, they were damp feeling. We did not even shower bec the tub looked dirty. Lastly, I didn’t want to put anything on the rug/floor so I was about to put my bag under the night table in a cubby like space and Before I did, I touched it and a layer of dust accumulated instantly on my finger. I’ve never seen anything like it and I’ve traveled a lot. All in all the staff was lovely yet the lobby is deceiving. I do hope the management sees this and takes action to make conditions better, it really gives Best Western overall a bad name when I’ve historically had great experiences in others.

Lack of security as secondary door (?s) access was not locked/didn’t required key card access.

This is a wonderful hotel. Great location away but not too far highway so very quiet. The property is kept very very clean. Room was great, spacious and super clean. I was pleasantly surprised. While I didn’t use the pool or gym, they seemed good and well kept too. Great breakfast. Much better than bigger brand hotels. Definitely recommend!

Staff very professional courteous Bathroom needs renovating, suggest walk in shower, no wall paper, plumbing, etc. Breakfast room staff started shutdown 15min early.

Breakfast was okay. The location was great! The room was very dark. The lighting in the bathroom was dark as well.

The front desk wasn’t friendly or helpful at all upon check in and didn’t even stand up from his chair. The morning after the first night I was getting ready to go get breakfast and a worker, not even house keeping opened my door without even knocking, luckily I had the second lock on and when I saw she had used a key and tried to open the door, I opened it and asked what she was doing. She had a clipboard and said oh sorry, it said this room was clean and ready. Never have I ever had anyone open my room without knocking and saying house keeping. So I wonder what would have happened if I had not been in my room. Very suspicious and uncomfortable in my opinion. Then when I went to get the free breakfast there was one lady working but she was on a FaceTime call with one of her friends and completely ignored me. There was only a coffee type machine and no coffee in pots and the breakfast was premade omelets with no labeling and sausage patties. The muffins were some off brand and tasted terrible. The staff at this hotel is poor. Upon arrival and walking to my room I smelled marijuana in the hallway of this non smoking room. I will not stay here ever again. Sketchy place. No wonder there was only 5 cars in the parking lot. I’ll be staying across the street at the Sleep/comfort Inn on my way home from my sisters next week, it’s $70 a night cheaper and they have an indoor pool. I wish I would have saved $70 and stayed there on my way to my sisters! I give this place 1-2 stars
