Sleep Inn & Suites Virginia Horse Center

We chose Lexington as our more-than-halfway overnight stopping point for a long car trip and the Sleep Inn & Suites was a great choice. Clean, good sized room, comfortable bed, welcoming staff at check in and a better than average selection for the free breakfast. If we need to do this trip again, we would happily stay here again. Dinner recommendation: Even if beer isn't your thing, the nearby Devil's Backbone brew pub is an excellent choice. Beautiful setting, friendly staff, great pub food and some excellent beer as well.

The location was good..The staff was wonderful! Very clean and neat! Room was a good size. Pool and Jacuzzi were nice! Very quiet! Way too much chlorine in the Jacuzzi. Pool could stand to be a bit warmer.

Property was clean. Shower was cold most of the time.

Rooms were cleaning comfortable. I was very disappointed in the condition of the pool. I had my grandson with me and was really looking forward to him having fun in the pool. The stench of the chlorine was so bad, especially around the Jacuzzi spa that we had to leave earlier than we wanted. When we got home, we washed out my son’s life vest and it freaks so bad of chlorine that we had to soak it for a long time to get the stitch out. That is a truly unsafe situation. Hopefully staff will notice the same thing in. Do a better job maintaining the pool.

The pool area smelled so strongly of chlorine and chemicals my family’s eyes were burning and they were coughing. Beds were very hard. Room could have used a dehumidifier. Everything was clean.

It was a nice stay, clean room, nice staff. Suited our need for the week.

This hotel is conveniently located in a nice rural area near the interstate and close to restaurants and stores. It is older but clean and well maintained. It is pet friendly and has good places to walk your pet.
