This place was very convenient and had everything we needed.

This is a no-frills hotel, however, the breakfast was good, the breakfast worker had a great personality, and the front desk was helpful directing us to a good Mexican restaurant. Only negative was the walls were thin and I could actually hear the man next door using the restroom.

This was an overnight stop on a long trip. We arrived on Sunday, early evening and most of the local restaurants (we found an open one) and local shops were closed. The Inn had an issue with TV service (I understand cable was out for most of the day and also in the morning). The Inn was clean and quiet. Breakfast was on par with other places we have stayed at. For the price, great place to stay and rest.

Great looking property. Going inside was greeted immediately and friendly. Staff was wonderful. The room was immaculate and fully stocked very well! Lots of space as we had a suite, highly recommend! Very quiet property as well.

It was not completely full The hotel staff tried to put someone. I did no know in my same room.

Breakfast wasn't quite up to part with other HIE's I have stayed at and in general it could be a bit cleaner.

The hotel room chairs were nasty. One had a stain on the seat cushion, and one had the cushion ripped and worn. The shower head and water line was loose in the wall. Every time you try to adjust the shower head, the water line would move out and into the wall. Overall, pretty shabby place.

Our stay at Lexington, VA Holiday Inn Express was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and immaculately clean, the outdoor patio was very nice and inviting. The breakfast offered several options and was all fresh and tasty. The only recommendation I have is to put up a sign off the main road as the entrance is set back. Other than that, it was an exceptional experience.

The exterior of the property was clean, parking was plentiful, and there was a gas station within walking distance. Staff were polite and professional. I would not recommend the neighboring Applebee’s. The restaurant appeared poorly maintained, with sticky floors and tables, vegetables that did not seem fresh, and a lukewarm entrée. Unfortunately, the room itself was very disappointing. There was trash left inside a kitchen cabinet from a previous guest, the room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the bathroom smelled of urine. The bathroom tile grout was dark and dirty, the shower curtain had stains and an odor, and the bathtub drained very slowly. The shower curtain rod appeared improperly installed, causing water to spray onto the bathroom floor, and the shower head was partially detached from the wall. The kitchenette consisted only of a microwave, full-size refrigerator, and single-cup Keurig. Both beds were uneven and uncomfortable, the bathroom faucet was extremely stiff and difficult to operate, and both dining chairs had ripped upholstery. Overall, the room appeared poorly maintained and in need of deep cleaning and repairs. While the exterior and staff were fine, the condition of the room made for an unpleasant stay.
