It was not completely full The hotel staff tried to put someone. I did no know in my same room.

Great place to stay. Highly recommend

Breakfast wasn't quite up to part with other HIE's I have stayed at and in general it could be a bit cleaner.

The shower head and water line was loose in the wall. Every time you try to adjust the shower head, the water line would move out and into the wall. Overall, pretty shabby place.

Hard to actually see from the road. No large exterior signage indicating your location.

Our stay at Lexington, VA Holiday Inn Express was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and immaculately clean, the outdoor patio was very nice and inviting. The breakfast offered several options and was all fresh and tasty. The only recommendation I have is to put up a sign off the main road as the entrance is set back. Other than that, it was an exceptional experience.

The exterior of the property was clean, parking was plentiful, and there was a gas station within walking distance. Staff were polite and professional. I would not recommend the neighboring Applebee’s. The restaurant appeared poorly maintained, with sticky floors and tables, vegetables that did not seem fresh, and a lukewarm entrée. Unfortunately, the room itself was very disappointing. There was trash left inside a kitchen cabinet from a previous guest, the room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the bathroom smelled of urine. The bathroom tile grout was dark and dirty, the shower curtain had stains and an odor, and the bathtub drained very slowly. The shower curtain rod appeared improperly installed, causing water to spray onto the bathroom floor, and the shower head was partially detached from the wall. The kitchenette consisted only of a microwave, full-size refrigerator, and single-cup Keurig. Both beds were uneven and uncomfortable, the bathroom faucet was extremely stiff and difficult to operate, and both dining chairs had ripped upholstery. Overall, the room appeared poorly maintained and in need of deep cleaning and repairs. While the exterior and staff were fine, the condition of the room made for an unpleasant stay.

Nice, clean hotel. Our room had some damage to the wallpaper. Breakfast was decent but lacking biscuits and gravy. No sugar free syrup for diabetics. Check out was easy.

The room this week and last week were both clean. Last week the AC was not working in the room and it got quite warm. This week everything was perfect and the front desk staff told me that all of the rooms AC have been reviewed and are now working properly.

The hotel was clean and updated. The room itself was also very clean. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked and had many options. The parking area was clean and safe. We had a room that faced the back, and it was very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

I immediately called the front desk again around 11 PM. My son and I were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. I was told someone would come right up, but after 30 minutes no one had arrived. I went down to the lobby myself, and only then was I told again that someone would come up. After another 15 minutes, someone finally showed up, unplugged the unit and plugged it back in, and it seemed to start working. Unfortunately, it stopped working again in the middle of the night. At that point, I didn’t even bother calling again. Very frustrating experience and a clear lack of follow through.
