Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Liberty/NE Kansas City Area

It was a clean room for the night but don’t expect much beyond that. No staff at the front desk to check-in or check-out. A sign with a number to call that is the hotel number and it goes to voicemail. Breakfast was coffee and a store chocolate muffin. The elevator was broken.

They advertise the breakfast and at the desk told us there wood be sausage , egg and cheese muffins and for the money you're paying to stay and not have them made available is rediculous. Especially during FIFA event and have international people staying there.

They should not advertise that they serve breakfast. The milk was in a jug with a milk ring an inch above the level of the milk. No toast. No Danish or donuts. Only one choice of muffins--blueberry. No attendant to ask for help. They had an open bag of Jimmy Dean breakfast bites that may have been left over from something a staff member had for breakfast. The room was fine. Hallway could have been cleaner.

Person checking us in was very nice and let us check in early. Bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly making it difficult wash your hands or brush your teeth. Bath tub looked dirty and the shower curtain had orange slime/mold on the bottom of it, so we elected to not take a shower. Carpet needed a vacuum.

Next morning breakfast was to be 7-9am. Went done at 7:30am….. nothing. Then someone came out with watered down coffee and a small basket of older pkg muffins. Milk had an old ring around carafe and smelled. Few containers of packaged cereal. No bread even for toast. Felt it would have been better to not say breakfast included. Expensive for no breakfast. If I’d get a good deal on rate, would definitely stay for comfortable beds. Other than that not interested. Would not take much to fix dirt and breakfast.

Not much for breakfast, but we made do. It worked out just fine for a one night stay.

Stopped in for a quick overnight. Had to start our day before breakfast was available ,but the room accommodated the needs we had.

Worthless cheaters who canceled my reservation without any update even though I made a reservation 15 days in advance with advance payment. Only good thing, I got my money back but after driving over 10hours and just wanting to hit the bed tired, you don't want to rely on these kind of things late unreliable hotels.

we stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and we were pleased with the whole experience. This stay was not as good as the last. The satellite tv was a bust. No channel had a picture that was uninterrupted by pixelation continuously. The TV went into "setup" mode every time it was turned on. Went down to breakfast at 7:45 for a 7:00 am breakfast start and the galley was not prepared. The hotel employee was loud and yelling "SORRY" at all the guests as she blamed the night employee for not preparing the breakfast. Any conversation had by the few guests that were in the lobby at the time were interrupted by her loud proclamations that this wasn't her fault. We could not hear our own conversation, so we took our coffee and went up to our room. We will not be staying here again.

For a budget hotel, this was a great experience. The desk clerk Ashley was very knowledgeable and helpful. The location was perfect and the room rate was about half of the room rated for the two hotels (Home2 and Best Western) on either side of this one. The workout room was well-cooled and had a treadmill, an exercise bike, a lot of free weights, and a multi-purpose weight machine. My room was clean and did not have an overpowering smell of cleaning products as some hotel chains do. The towels were thicker than many budget hotels. The halls and elevator were clean.

Was quiet and room was very clean. Only reason why 3 stars there was someone smoking in the halls.
