Riverbank Motel and Cabins

Certainly wasn't the picture I was shown of two double beds. Could only open the door half way to fit the twin in and not what I ordered. They stop answering calls after 7 or so so you are F***ed if you need some thing or have a question. I could hear the next door person yawning loudly. Finally I yelled stop. I hope he had a happy ending but then he started the yawning at 5 am. Per a notice to hotel participants. WE CAN HEAR YOU! They are responsive before that time, like I couldn't figure out the TV and the son cam over pretty quickly. IF I were more adept, she was willing to do it over the phone. The front door was pouring cold air in so I feel sorry for there heating bill. Other than that, everything was clean, soft fluffy towels, water pressure, hot water and I kept looking at this picture on then wall of fall..I'm sure it was cheap but it was beautiful

The motel is affordable, convenient, and extremely clean. However we were in rm #2 and had a horrible night’s sleep due to the fact that we were directly over the hot water heater that services the entire motel. Needless to say we were all settled in and didn’t realize it would run loudly most of the night and morning. We stayed a weekday during the winter and while we could hear other guests they seemed to be mostly quiet and respectful. Traffic was at a minimum.

This place is perfect for an inexpensive, cute, clean, ideal location spot. The pool/hot tub privileges at the Resort 2 miles away were really amazing and gave us the best of both worlds. The woman handling the desk was very kind and knowledgeable of the area. We will be back!!

We spent one quick night here. The location was great for our plans to get groceries and drive the Kanc highway. Check in was very friendly and personal. Would probably stay there again under similar circumstances. Walls are VERY thin in the motel section. We could hear the guests on either side unless we had the AC unit running. So we ran it all night to have white noise instead of voices. The bedding was old but clean and the bed itself was poor. The room was clean, bathtub very clean. It was clean and adequate for one quick night.

Good location but hotel rooms are very close to road. Too noisy to open windows. Gave us additional pillows upon request.

Really cute cottages - full frig & cook area with pretty creek running behind the properly. Property managers were fabulous and so accommodating.

We had a studio cabin and loved that it was right on the river (almost in the river:). Loved being able to sit and look at the water and the ducks going by. Nice to have the kitchen area for fixing simple meal or two.

Clean, cozy, good bed, and eponomously on the bank of a lovely stoney river. Will book again.

This place felt like a homey one bedroom house with a cute front porch to sit on and enjoy the beauty around it. The lady that runs it was super sweet too. We loved it there. Wish we could have stayed a few days.

If you’re into the older hotels, with a little history, this is the place! It’s super cute!! The staff is super friendly!! The beds are a little more firm than I like, but that’s the only reason for a less than perfect review!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room and kitchenette were clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. Location was great for our hiking adventures!
