Issue with a ceiling leak, front desk were great, helpful and quickly worked to resolve the problem. Very friendly staff, great location. Would stay again

Great location. The grounds/gardens are beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved the outside seating option as well as a cool bar with trivia!

Toilet ran every 40 seconds. Difficulty getting sleep. All staff extremely helpful & friendly.

The inn is charming and quirky. The location is excellent. The front desk and dining room staff are courteous and helpful. Would be nice to have hooks on the bathroom door for hanging robes and wet towels. And a soap dish on the lavatory would be nice. Also, the wait staff at the brew-pub outdoor area were surly and not helpful. Maybe they were having a bad day.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly! Looking forward to coming back !

I'm a cook and was impressed with the food and service Nothing. I couldn't get a newspaper though

Room was quaint, had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. The breakfast voucher was a nice plus, food was good. The best part was the outdoor seating amongst the beautiful gardens. A wonderful evening atmosphere and we actually had many conversations with other diners sitting around us. Everyone seemed festive in this fabulous atmosphere.

Everyone was so friendly!! Rooms were clean and spacious.

location and outdoor area beautiful. Restaurant good. Breakfasts very good Tired shabby and badly needs a renovation. Walls paper thin could hear the guy next door snoring. No hanging space not a hanger chest of drawers filled with bedding. Bulky furniture taking up all the space. Stained carpets and peeling wallpaper.

The staff and atmosphere in the bar/pub was great, the quality of the food was excellent. We had both evening meal and breakfast there and everything we ate was delicious, large portions! Located well within the White Mountains. The room was in a separate building across the street, the building was old and consequently the room was dated and smaller than expected. Although everything worked within the room (had a good shower) the wallpaper was hanging off the walls in places. The walls were thin and you could hear every sound from other rooms, on the same floor and from the room above also. The ice machine in the hall was very loud and the lock on the front door to the main building didn’t work properly and the door was often left open.

The room was nice and cozy, the staff were wonderful. Ian the waiter made our stay so much more comfortable. We will be back in a few weeks.
