Cozy ambiance Want to see the mud out of the pouch on the front tree removed and no silicone light bulbs on property so the sacred happenings and individuals around are in the best way

Perfect for our needs/purpose. Loved that it was so quiet -- quieter than any hotel or accommodation we've ever stayed at. Really, there was nothing we didn't like.

The sauna was great. No complaints.

The Notch Hostel is located at a great place, accessible to the town of Woodstock and grocery. The price is amazing and the staff is very friendly. The hostel is kept clean and other facilities like kitchen, laundry and Leisure room are available which are also clean and nicely maintained. It’s also possible to have your pet dog to bring along with you and there is a cage for them to sleep in. Great vibes overall If you are in a shared dormitory, there is a possibility that the people might snore and turn on the lights on and off which can affects your sleep. The hostel has a great set rules and regulations for the same but I don’t think that they can do much if anyone does not follow them, as they will never know if someone is snoring or not, it’s purely on being honest and the customers doing their best to follow the rules. So I can’t blame the hostel :)

Checkin was smooth. The host was available and explained everything. Dorms are clean and the common spaces and utilities are good including a sitting area, kitchen and washroom. Overall I had a comfortable stay.

Very friendly people We stayed in the bear cabin which was cosy Having to go outside to get to the bathroom- not great in middle of night when raining

Small thing. Came in late. Had a top bunk. My ladder was against the wall — right next to a combination lamp/shelving thing. It covered about half the ladder. Meanwhile, the bottom occupant had left his considerable stuff on the floor in the small space between our bunk bed and the next one, where the lamp was. It was not easy to not disturb my roommates, while trying to find bare floor to step on, before mounting the ladder that was half covered by the furniture.

The place was clean. The location was close to Ice Castle. The bedroom very small. Bathrooms are very small like closet size. My husband had no hot water when he tried to take a shower. Heard people talking all night. Had a bad night sleep.
