Sonesta Simply Suites Baltimore BWI Airport

Pros: Rooms are clean for the most part, few food options near, quiet area, spacious, no pests from what I have seen (and I'm a clean freak!) Cons: I've stayed here enough to know that some smells from guests can linger at times, sweat, body odor etc. Had to switch rooms upon arrival to get a cleaner/better smelling room. Few issues with appearance of room due to negligence of guests and the bed [from the 1st room] was a bit messy as if someone had taken a break then laid down. Cleaned the 2nd room as soon as we got in but there was a little less than half a roll of paper towel. Went downstairs to ask for more and the receptionist let me know that there aren't any :/ ... with trust issues this bad, I'm not too sure if her response was honest or due to scarcity

I Just stayed there for one night due to flight cancellation. The location is good , pretty close to the airport. The building is not new and the room is ok for short stay.

As I’m leaving the luggage cart which I’ve complained about and heard so many people ask to be replaced sliced the back of both of my legs. I show staff. Nothing. Pics attached I do not suggest this hotel even though the rest of the staff was soo kind as I left.

Basic but comfortable. No hair dryer in room. No exhaust fan in bathroom so it fogs up. The accessible shower seat was in the bathroom but not installed. It was difficult to use safely. Fridge and microwave were super convenient. Great value for a lower price

Bad was a bad place to stay at. Will not go back there.

The room did not have all the necessary stuff in there. Staff acted like she didn’t want to be there. Elevators not working but no signs to indicate that.

The room itself was fairly clean but several bed bugs found. Advised staff and they seemed unsurprised and unconcerned. Property is run down and in need of serious repairs. Charged a fee to park but plenty spaces in available in non-commercial area (couldn’t understand why fee was charged to park). Would never stay here again…. Very disappointing!

Fire alarm was going off for over 30 minutes at 6.a.m. on a Saturday morning

My room was very damp, everything including the bed and bedding were damp and musty! It smelled moldy! Room had coffee but no coffee pot! Sink was leaking, toilet ran all night! Not a very good stay!

I stayed here again after being treated very nicely the first time after a bed bug bit me and management took great care of me. However, this stay was not nearly as nice and I wasn't bitten by a bed bug. Instead, the fire alarm went off one night and we had to evacuate the bldg, cops called out another night, next day the management felt compelled to do a bldg wide room check and demanded entrance of your room no matter what you were doing, water shut off for a few hours on another day. I should've been refunded then compensated to stay my troubles.
