Sonesta ES Suites Denver South Park Meadows

The lobby and breakfast area are nice, clean and new(er). The rooms are nicely updated and were clean (minus the wet bathroom area, not updated and due to old caulking, tile and grout, it looked a bit dirtier than the other areas, but likely just because it was old). The hallways were rough. Dirty, smelly, overall pretty beat up. Parking was a challenge due to a lack of parking spaces around the building. Fortunately we came and went during off times, and didn’t have an issue. Breakfast was ok- apples/oranges, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, and rotating egg/protein options. Not my cup of tea, but kept my kids happy! WiFi was consistent and good enough to work/zoom call on. The property says it’s a smoke free property. It is not. Our neighboring unit smoked all day, everyday. Our unit did a good job trying to filter it out, but our kitchen/living area consistently smelled like smoke. Several times there was also a thick cloud of weed smoke in the hallway (enough to make your eyes water), but fortunately this wasn’t our direct neighbor. I have to believe Sonesta is aware of this, as it was not just our neighbors but was throughout the halls outside several different units throughout the day. We saw them ripping out carpet one day in a room due to the smoking in that room. I would not recommend the property because of this, however if they were to crack down on smoking, our experience would have been better.

Bed was sort of comfortable and the breakfast was at least good. Why did I have to pay a deposit fee that I didn't receive back in full? That wasn't advertised in the listing. I also never received service for my entire stay so I had old trash piling up with nowhere to put it. Also super noisy.

Room was spacious, bed was super comfortable, amenities were nice. Breakfast was good. Location was good close by to lots of food and shopping. Feel like you shouldn’t have to pay for parking that was a minus

Good value for money, clean, nice breakfast but should stop using disposable cutlery and plates! Parking fee was unnecessary, small amount but ruins experience

Breakfast was average at best. Kitchen felt cramped and not any counter space. Stairways had dirt and debris most every trip.

The breakfast was not perfect, but it was sufficient enough to get something in your stomach before the day. I would definitely stay here again.

We really liked the set up of the studio King room. We enjoyed the kitchen and the bathroom and the toilet room separate from the bathroom vanity. It felt very clean in the room and the bed was very comfortable. Paying to park was an unexpected fee. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast with powder eggs. The staircase smelled strongly of cigarettes. You can hear every conversation that is happening in the hallways.

Everything was ok except the laundry facilities weren’t working. Everything else was fine.

Sonesta ES is my go-to place to stay, regardless of where I travel. I LOVE the fact that I can cook an entire meal and then wash all the dishes in the dishwasher. It's a fully equipped apartment with a gigantic bed as well. The price was an OUTSTANDING value and was the cherry on top. Close to all necessary amenities and very, very quiet.

The breakfast and location were amazing. The air conditioner was soo loud that it would wake me out of sleep off and on. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. The person who was next to us you could litterally hear everything and I felt like there was no privacy! It was constant coughing, burping, snoring, loud TV and detailed conversations to people he spoke to on the phone or in person. The room was a little run down, but not terrible. Did find a huge spider and beetle in our room. The pull out couch mattress had a lot of stains on it. I had higher hopes for this place and maybe we were just dealt a not so good experiance.

The beds were good and the water pressure in the showers wasn't bad. It was odd that the sliding door shower was in the "kids' room instead of the master. Very noisy, we could hear lots of noise from outside and from the room above. The a/c vents were dirty. paying to park.

The front desk was accommodating .Breakfast was good and was nice to see someone attending to it . Shower curtain was a little dirty, stairways were a little dirty. Lighting was a little dim/ warm.
