I would give the hotel a 4-star rating because our first-night check-in experience was not smooth. Expedia advertised the room as sleeping four people, but the room only had one king bed and no sofa bed. Once a rollaway bed was brought in, there was barely any space to move around the room. I brought this issue up at check-in, but the staff member was not willing to help, even after I explained my frustration. The next day, management got involved and moved us to a better room, and the remaining four nights went very well. I appreciated management’s help in resolving the issue, but the initial check-in experience could have been handled much better.

Staff was friendly. It felt clean. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and over all a great stay. Early check in took 2 1/2 hours so we only got an hours worth of early check in. We get it first come first serve and the gal that checked us in was so so kind but for the future we may not do the upgraded suite if we show up when early check in starts and have to wait that long.

The Hyatt is where we stay when we go to Long Beach. Service is good and reliable. Location cannot be beat.
