Check in was a breeze. The Bayview room did not disappoint. Breakfast had the hotel was slow, however, worth the wait, we were given a complimentary champagne. Both bars, HALO and lobby bar were inviting, beautiful view, what else can I say?

To start, our check-in was delayed by more than two hours. After traveling and arriving on time, having to wait that long to access our room was unacceptable and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The following morning, I ordered a breakfast burger and specifically informed the staff that I have a pork allergy. Despite making my allergy clear, my burger was still served with pork. I had to send it back to be remade because of a mistake that never should have happened in the first place. Even after it was remade, I became sick after eating it. My condition became bad enough that we could not even finish the trip. Although our checkout was scheduled for Sunday, we were forced to leave on Saturday because I was too ill to continue our stay. What makes this even more upsetting is that this was our Fourth of July weekend. We had planned the entire trip around the holiday and had purchased non-refundable tickets to visit the Queen Mary. Because I became sick, we missed those plans entirely, including the fireworks show we had been looking forward to. Not only did we lose money on non-refundable tickets, but we also lost the holiday experience we had spent time and money planning. The level of carelessness shown, especially regarding a food allergy, is unacceptable. A delayed check-in is frustrating, but serving a guest food containing an ingredient they were explicitly told I was allergic to is a serious health

-
The hotel exceeded our expectations with its spacious rooms, cleanliness, and friendly, attentive staff. We had a great stay overall. While the hotel was excellent, the surrounding area of Long Beach was not quite what we had anticipated.
-
Beautiful hotel great location. love the area.
-
They should inform that it is a resort and that you have to pay $45 per day when leaving the hotel. I didn’t read that anywhere when I booked; I would have liked to know in advance.
-
Impecable place. Great roof top bar. I hear the sky room is just as good.
