Best Western Plus Hotel At The Convention Center

The property encircles the garage and a busy street is on the other side. The crew doing the renovations leaves all the windows open meaning you’re hearing every car door locking. Window in the room was also left unlocked so we were awakened to the trash truck slamming the container early in the morning. It’s obvious there’s zero attention to detail towards guest comfort. I grew up in the hotel/restaurant industry so I know it when I see it. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Great place!

I was supposed to say six days, but I checked out early because my refrigerator was broken and they were doing construction under my room and I could not deal with the drilling and banging. The staff at the hotel is super nice, but I’m on vacation. I don’t wanna listen to drilling and banging and I couldn’t have cold drinks because my refrigerator was broken.

Exceptional

Clean and peaceful hotel. Worked well for our two nights . Very close to restaurants and shopping and the beach. Will book here again. AC wasn't working in the elevators or hall ways but worked great in the room.

Great location and parking lot was great! The rooms were a little worn but clean. The gym was behind the pool and not very good. The breakfast was fine but the coffee was very good. Overall a good stay and would go back for the location and price!

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available and okay with some options. Location is convenient to downtown and the aquarium. Fine hotel for a brief stay. I cannot comment on the pool or gym as I did not have time to use them. Only one complaint during my stay. The shower sliding doors would not stay closed no matter what I tried. There was always a gap of a couple of inches that caused some water to leak out.

The hotel is well located, with wonderful staff and clean room. Breakfast was was also wonderful.

We were only here for a little over 24 hours but it was a great stay. beds were comfy, air conditioning was wonderful and the staff were all so excellent, kind and sweet.

Interesting how the price drastically fluctuates week to week

The hotel was clean and nice. However the staff were cold and unprofessional. Like talking to teenagers running the place. They told me when I showed up early I could store my bags and they would call me to let me know if the room opens early or on time as it was busy. I was more than ok with that and waiting for the room. However they for some reason didnt look at my number on the booking and used chicken scratch handwriting they couldn't reach me. We waited way longer due to this. When I show up there was a woman at the desk who said she couldn't help me and the other front desk agent was on break. Told me to wait and come back, as if no one could help us? Come later our stay, They originally quoted we could do late check out at no expense, then took it back the next morning(the day we had to leave) and was upset when I was asking for them to honor what they said. The front desk non stop complained to guests of the large amount of people coming in today as if they did not want to do their job.it was just odd and messed with a tight schedule of our morning.

Wifi is not working. Minor issues on some facilities.

Love love the staff is beyond professional and I felt safe travel solo the first night as a female . I love how they are so quick to help out with any issue you have not only that very very silent as someone who travels for work this is my go to !
