Hella dirty, but one staff member went above and beyond, so that’s why I stayed. But with all the dust, dirty tub, stinky sinks. The bed was comfy

Overall, the place was nice well-kept and very clean. The only issue I had with the room is that it was really small. If the room was bigger and had more room to move around in, it would have been one of the best rooms I've stayed in since I do some traveling from time to time.

This hotel is located next to a sex shop in the worst part of the city. Homeless all around I was too scared to get out of my car.

I would not recommend this facility if there was a chance that arrival might be late or after hours because there won't any in person assistance available. I don't have an opinion on the Hotel Royal main faciltiy because unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy that experience.

Well organized, clean and peaceful.

The hotel was clean and easy to navigate. It was right on the street. The rooms are not opulent but clean and comfortable! Well worth the money.

This place has a great location! We were in town for a Championship series for the Pioneer Baseball League, so we didn’t explore the downtown area, but looked like lots of great shops and restaurants walkable. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Was I guess what should be expected for a 3 star hotel in downtown long beach. But my expectations based on the pics was maybe too high. Front desk staff was helpful.

Lost track of how many times we've stayed here. Its a great little get away. Lots of restaurants and bars that are walking distant. The area and the Royale has this old timey vibe to it that we love. This time around I saw a couple pull up with a 'Just Married' sign on their car, good vibes.

I stayed there overnight so I could catch a cruise. The room was very basic, at an affordable rate. The only negative was no closet or luggage rack.

I was able to talk to the owner, Victor very nice man but the staff oh my gosh they’re so wonderful. I will come here 1 million times.

Staff at front desk lovely. Communal areas dirty. Stair case lolked like it had nt been hoovered in months! Good location

Actual Hotel is now as pictured o. The app. They have a picture of a nicer buildings from the street corner. The rooms they have on the app pictures NOT what they gave me. This is a complete RIP off. Owner or manager should have actual pictures of the different rooms they have. Not only the couple of rooms they posible remodeled. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL If YOU WANT A NICE PLACE TO STAY. the room they gave me. 3-4. Out of 10. Again NOT as pictured on the app.
